IS IT REALLY YOU?
A project before leaving. Immensely proud of all the people who came together to create this, genuinely one of the most fun and insane sets I’ve been on.

long live indie and long live the films we grew up watching 🫶🏻

To you Thavy, I owe you a lot and I hope I have at least given back some of that through this film, by keeping a part of you alive in the scripts you write. Pls make me talk about league of legends again pog @thavythongkham

And to you Denli, thank you for being so fun and open to work with! I still miss you and I will always look back on the stupid moments we had here 😭 @denlichavez

SEASHELL | 贝壳 is a quick little music video we shot at the end of my trip. Directed by @thavythongkham starring the talented @angelx_1119 and shot by yours truly.

For a production with minimal planning and just a rough tonal vision, this was a fun challenge to tackle. Everything was shot handheld, with a spontaneous approach that kept us on our toes. Despite the loose planning, I think we captured what we needed!

I did notice my focusing skills could use a bit of sharpening, so fingers crossed it’s not too noticeable... Here’s a test grade of what the look could be — keep in mind, it’s still a work in progress and I have no clue when the project will be done xD
