Day 309 of 365 Checking in with our main man Grant and his sky-blue Weirlooms. Bringing the best out of a pair that has a lot to give. 🏃: @the.arcuate 🇺🇸 👖: Weirloom 001 (14oz) 🧼: 5 washes

Before there were any Weirloom jeans, the brand’s Instagram started with style collages like this. Different outfits, different ways to wear denim—without really revealing what the plan was 🤫 Now, a year after the first pre-order campaign, it’s great seeing the jeans become part of people’s wardrobes. Grant aka @the.arcuate wears a pair of WL-001 ‘Second Edition’ jeans in the Indigo Invitational. Leather jackets, denim jackets, knitwear, boots, sneakers, even a baseball jersey—it all works because the fit is intentionally straightforward and versatile. Just a classic straight fit designed to be worn your way. #weirloom #rawdenim #selvedgedenim #denimstyle #menswear

Day 211 of 365 When Thomas introduced this pair, he talked and lot about its fade potential (something he engineered very carefully). We’re starting to see exactly what he’s been talking about. A comfortable fit that doesn’t sacrifice any fade potential. Ace. 🏃: @the.arcuate 🇺🇸 👖 : Weirloom 001 Second Ed. (14oz)

Day 78 of 365 Wearability is one of the keys to a great fading pair. When you find that perfect fit for your body, it’s a piece of cake to reach for the same pair every morning. Grant’s loving this fit, and the fades are starting to come—and starting to pick up speed. Consistently excellent, Grant is definitely a fader to follow. 🏃: @the.arcuate 🇺🇸 👖: WEIRLOOM WL-001 Raw (14oz) #indigoinvitational2025 #indigoinvitational #indigoinvitationaly5 #indigoinvitationalyearfive #365joursdenimes #fadecontest #fadecompetition#iiv #365daysofraw #rawdenim #selvedge #selvedgedenim #denim #drydenim #selvedgeforum #selvage #denimhead #denimlovers #denimporn #ruggedstyle #menswear #denimheads #workwear #jeans #fadedjeans #rugged #fadefriday #selvedgesunday #re(pair)

/ Maybe We Ain’t That Young Anymore / First fit pics in the @weirloom WL-0001 Second Edition, which I’m fading in the @indigoinvitational this year, and I had to join @willhalbert and @the.arcuate and others with my leather-jacket-and-cap shot. But you gotta swipe to see it. Keen eyes will notice I’m in a new jacket. Yes, another one. Yes, I know I have a problem. But listen. I’ve been on the hunt for a vintage Windward like Bruce Springsteen wore on the cover of “Darkness on the Edge of Town” and “Born to Run” for a hot minute. I found this 1970s Montgomery Ward jacket (prev known as Windward), in my size (ok, a bit snug) for FIFTY DOLLARS. No it’s not the most sought-after vintage, but it was basically a dollar for every year it has been around and you could have possibly walked into a Montgomery Ward, grabbed a copy of Born to Run, noticed the jacket on the cover, and snuck over to menswear to grab the jacket. Show a little faith! There’s magic in the night. #mensstyle #denim #leatherjacket #selvedge #selvedgedenim #springsteen #vintagestyle #vintageleatherjacket #indigoinvitational #windwardjacket #weirloom #denimhunter #denimhunters

What’s your next fade project? Grant (@the.arcuate) has been a dedicated fader in the @indigoinvitational for three years straight. Here’s what he’s faded: 👖 Nama Denim (Y2) – A fully custom pair in 19 oz. herringbone denim, made during the pandemic when Grant was down 20 lbs. Some of the best fades he’s ever achieved. Sadly, they no longer fit—but they still hold a top spot. Nama’s pricing and custom options make them stand out in a crowded space. 👖 Realign Tapered Yoshi (Y3) – His favourites. The first release of Robin’s modern-meets-heritage cut. These jeans loved water, resulting in a hybrid contrast/vintage fade with a ton of character. 👖 Iron Heart IH-777-19L (Y4) – Soft, wearable, and beautifully stubborn. The matching jacket didn’t quite keep pace, but the jeans held their own. And next? Grant is signed up for Y5 with the 17 oz. Atsude Selvedge ‘Kenji’ from @wearerealign . But… he’s also got a pair of WL-001 ‘First Edition’ jeans 😲 “@robindenim would probably kill me if Grant makes that switch 🫣 (But I’d die happy 😂)” - Thomas Links to the buying guides and Weirloom are in the @denimhunters bio. If you’re looking for your next fade project, well, now you know where to start 😉 #nextfadeproject #indigoinvitational #fadeddenim #madebywear #rawdenim #selvedgedenim #denimfade #fadefriday #japanesedenim #heritagedenim #vintagestyle #denimarchive #denimlife
