What a wonderful day spent at Locharmill Riverside Retreat.

Lucy was the perfect host and the venue was the most beautiful spot.

Flowing river, green field views for days, all nestled on the river banks. You can't help but unwind and let your shoulders drop.

Cold tub dip and warming infra red sauna followed by a delicious warming soup and divine warmed brownies in the hygge nook.

What a perfect spot for great conversations without the buzz of the city or urgency of the phone pings.

Thank you Lucy for a perfect day and I can't wait to come back.

I'd highly recommend Locharmill Riverside Retreat for your own day retreat, a wee day out with pals or a corporate away day to reset the little grey cells.

Thanks to Beccy for joining me and for a wonderful conversation.

And HUGE thanks to Lucy at Locharmill Riverside Retreat for looking after us so well. What a treat! But let's not keep it for a special occasion. More of this please 🥰

Yes… we’re doing it again 🥳🔥🌅

Another Summer Sauna Party!

After the lovely response to the last one, we couldn’t resist another evening of sauna, dips, pizza, kombucha, stretch & relax yoga (weather permitting), whisking and good fun.

And if you thought this was happening on a Sunday, we’re sorry! We couldn’t make the Sunday work, so it’s now Saturday 15th August, 6–9pm.

Think calm water, warm saunas, fun beats in one sauna, a social sauna in the other, and that lovely end-of-summer feeling before autumn starts sneaking in.

✨ Limited spaces available
📍 Castle Semple Loch, Lochwinnoch
🕕 Saturday 15th August | 6–9pm

🔥INTEGRATION

After the first dramatic experience at the end of a month long trip to Mexico in March 2022, my life was never the same again.

And as my friend Beccy @the.life.project_ cleverly observed, it did feel like living in two worlds for quite some time.

I go into this more during our conversation on @behindoureyes333

It was so wild initially, most of my friends and family were not really aware.

I guess I didn’t know how to explain it, because I couldn’t really explain it myself.

I was having spontaneous convulsions.

Light language was spewing out of my mouth randomly.

I was perceiving the world differently.

It led me to explore and study so many things over the last four years…

And through that exploration I have met so many magical friends from all over the world.

And I guess I now feel more integrated with all that has happened. I’ve accepted it. Embraced it even.

And see it all for the gift it is.

I live a pretty normal life again after isolating during a lot of the last few years.

I’m grounded at last.

The two worlds are now just my life, ALL of it is me.

And along the way I’ve learnt to relax, allow, and ultimately let go.

🤯 WTF JUST HAPPENED?!

Probably a question I’ve asked myself a lot over the last few years 🥴

But they WERE the first words out of my mouth after one of the most profound experiences of my life.

An event that changed everything, or was about to, in more ways than I appreciated at the time.

So I’ve put myself in the hot seat on the latest episode of @behindoureyes333

I am super grateful to my lovely friend Beccy Calderwood @the.life.project_ for so patiently holding the space and asking me questions.

We only really touch the surface if I’m honest.

And I am very much leaning into the ‘so what?’ underneath it all.

We ARE more!

There IS more!

And there’s certainly more to come from me.

Link in bio… if you want to watch/listen to the whole thing… I do bloody talk a lot 🤪

And swear a lot 😆

“But you must do yoga all the time”

Truth is I struggle to rest sometimes, I struggle to make it to my mat, to stay on my mat, to feel present. I strive for consistent movement but my brain wants something else sometimes.

We’re never taught how to rest, just how to hustle. So rest can come from what we see online, the classes we go to, and not take into account how messy the human brain can feel.

Rest can feel hard, especially with a busy mind and over stimulated body.

Consistency can be the space you give rather than the thing you perform.

Rest can be messy, and distracted and just what you need in the moment.
