Join us for Junk Journal & Jams, a creative community workshop led by @diannehaya , co-founder of WAV COLLECTIVE.

Come together, paste, create, and jam as we make junk journal pages centered around what moves us, what inspires us, and the change we want to see in our communities. Through art and music, we’re creating a space to and recognize the power we hold as a community.

🔥 Feel your fire. Find your voice. Create something that moves you.

This workshop is a lead-up to THE HEAT MOVES US: Community Event for Collective Change on September 13th at Walter Studios.

Fun in PHX: ⭐️🎞️🖼️ part 8

📍 First Fridays at the PHX Art Museum @phxart

If my series Free in Phoenix and Fun in Phoenix had a baby, it would be the Phoenix art museum. Every month on the first Friday, the museum not only opens their doors to everyone for free from 5-8pm, they also host fun events to bring the community together! Every month is a little different but for August you could have spent your night crafting with @the.scrap.bar, get your picture taken by @home44.studio, do a bookmark with @phxfilmrevival or just enjoy the DJ or food truck while you look at all the art! ALL FOR FREE!!!

You also could pay extra to get an aura photo done by @cosmichour which I was so happy i finally got to do! I have wanted to get my aura photo taken for years & im genuinely hanging it up on my fridge lol it’s so cool. Have you ever had an Aura photo done?

Love,
Your friend in PHX 🪩🧡

still processing how incredible last night was 🥹✨

thank you to everyone who came out to our very first Spice Night Market and made it such a huge success. from shopping local vendors, getting tattoos, crafting, eating, sipping matcha, thrifting, and supporting so many small businesses all in one space… it honestly meant everything to us.

a huge thank you to @hostgoodcompany for hosting us and helping bring this vision to life 🌶️✨

and the biggest thank you to our amazing vendors:
