Join us for Junk Journal & Jams, a creative community workshop led by @diannehaya , co-founder of WAV COLLECTIVE.

Come together, paste, create, and jam as we make junk journal pages centered around what moves us, what inspires us, and the change we want to see in our communities. Through art and music, we’re creating a space to and recognize the power we hold as a community.

🔥 Feel your fire. Find your voice. Create something that moves you.

This workshop is a lead-up to THE HEAT MOVES US: Community Event for Collective Change on September 13th at Walter Studios.

✷ THE DETAILS ✷
Junk Journal Meetup
Sunday August 2nd
3pm-6pm - @stripmallphx
3508 N 7th St unit 100, Phoenix AZ

Note: This event is not intended for children, sorry kids!

You don’t need to buy a ticket ahead of time. Just come when you want & pay what you can when you get there using cash, card, venmo, or zelle. All supplies are provided including journals, & it’s completely beginner-friendly!

The typical donation ranges between $5-$15 to help cover material costs, compensate me for my time, & to ensure I can continue offering pay-what-you-can pricing for these events in the future, but what you can contribute is completely up to you.

Strip Mall has a variety of drinks and snacks available. Please do not bring outside food or drinks (except water bottles! it’s hot out there!). It’s highly appreciated to show some love by grabbing a drink or snack during the event to support the small biz hosting us!

This event is open to everyone except bigots. Hateful behavior will not be tolerated under any circumstances 🫶
