“Sometimes redirection requires discipline and obedience not just protection.”

This is when I celebrated my one-year anniversary in Texas with my children. Although not every moment was a success, I recognize that no journey is without its hiccups. When I made the decision to move to Texas, I did so with faith, and that faith carried me through the tough times. My obedience to that faith helped me emerge victorious.

Moving to Texas gave me a greater sense of purpose and clarity, but it also required me to let go of things that were no longer serving me. Redirection often involves removing old patterns and preparing for new directions. By letting go and embracing the new phase, I was able to find my way forward.

If you’re looking for inspiration to help you on your own journey, join me at the “She is Resilient” event on May 20th at 10:30am. This is an event you don’t want to miss, and tickets are going fast! We have only 10 days left until the ticket sales end, so be sure to get your tickets now before they sell out. I can’t wait to see you there!

Still processing all that took place at the @blackgirlswhowrite #creativeconnectionretreat2022. Everyone keeps asking how was my trip and the one word that I think sums it up is TRANSFORMATIVE. That's all I can I give y'all until my head comes out of the clouds and joins the rest of me back in Baltimore.
