Dear 2025,

I have mixed feelings for you
You’ve taught me lessons
Lessons that I’ll never forget
You taught me blessings
Blessings that I’ll forever live with
You forced me to grow…
In love
In discernment
In acceptance
You forced me to grow…up
You taught me to never negotiate on my boundaries
To never ever, question my intuition again
To always stay pure
To be myself, but to also watch out for the snakes
Watch out for the fakes
The ones that smile in my presence
But plotting a case in the dark
The ones that do everything to open me up
Just to try and get to my heart
To view its contents and see how it can benefit their agenda
You taught me to pay attention, because not everyone is genuine, there’s a lot of pretenders
You taught me to stay vigilant, and that my decisions not only affect me
You made me a mother, a protector
From my body, grew a seed
My silver living , my ray in the dark
Guiding me, growing me, loving me
You gave me my human heart 💛
So 2025 I thank you, for allowing me to grow through you
A year I’ll never forget, I dedicate these thoughts to you
So cheers, for all of this and more
