It took long time but was worth it. Matching the quality of a Rollie is no joke - mission accomplished! Made of titanium grade 5 and advanced ceramic using the same machinery and vendors who make Swiss watch components. No compromise.

Someone once told me, ‘Don’t take sketching for granted.’ For me, it’s as essential as breathing or eating, I live with it as though my life depends on it, and in some ways, I think it does. #sketching #design #watches #velm

Trust the process. Watches and their mechanical nature are fascinating, desire to have jewelry that would carry same attention to detail, technical and functional qualities that any watch enthusiast would appreciate was always my dream. Starred with a blank page and now we are here. Have a great week everyone.

Happy Friday.
I’d like to share a few images of design & development process for @the.velm Soho ceramic-titanium bangle. This piece was part of the vision to bridge horological craftsmanship and functionality with jewelry that would be worthy of any watch enthusiast and could be paired with your favorite time piece or rocked on its own.
I’m not going to lie if I say this was most challenging and most fun in my long career within the industry. Challenges of having advanced ceramics formed and within tolerance in such an unusual form was an obstacle that took a while to overcome. We are here. Finish line. Next week the curtain will go up and over three long years of work will be finally done and next phase will begin. 🤟
