What an amazing time! The energy, the excitement, the laughter, and seeing so many women come together in one room was everything! 🖤💛

I am so proud to see Black women in business coming together, showing up for one another, sharing their gifts, and making space for wellness, connection, and community. This is what it looks like when we come together with purpose and have a little fun along the way!

WOMEN IN WELLNESS. Partner Spotlight.

Meet Kara Ryles, Lifestyle Wellness Designer and Founder of The Wellness Shift Co., at our first annual movement and wellness experience provided by local Loudoun County Black-Owned, Women-Owned Businesses. Look for a special attendee offer from Kara in your goodie bag!

Kara helps high-responsibility women in federal and mission-driven roles manage burnout, stress, and hormonal shifts through lifestyle coaching. She works at the physiological layer (hormones, gut, nervous system) and brings 18 years of federal acquisition experience and ACE health coaching certification to her work with women navigating this season of life.

At The Wellness Shift Co., Kara's coaching is built on her signature framework, The S.H.I.F.T. Method™, a five-phase approach: Stabilize, Harmonize, Integrate, Form, and Translate. It addresses stress physiology, metabolic health, movement, habit design, and long-term sustainability in a specific sequence designed for sustainable change. All coaching sessions are available virtually.

This curated wellness experience brings together local Black owned, women owned businesses for an afternoon centered around movement, wellness, education, connection and community.

Say hello to Kara Ryles, founder of The Wellness Shift Co. and a Lifestyle Wellness Designer helping high responsibility women create a healthier, more sustainable way to care for themselves while carrying the demands of career, family, caregiving, and community.

With 18 years of federal acquisition experience and an ACE certified health coaching background, Kara brings a unique perspective to wellness that goes far beyond generic advice.

Her work centers women who are navigating burnout, hormonal shifts, gut health, nervous system regulation, and the mental load that so often comes with being the one everyone counts on.

As a woman of color herself, Kara understands that wellness does not exist in a vacuum. Culture, responsibility, expectations, and lived experience all matter.

Identity and becoming — so the changes you make are rooted in who you actually are, not who you think you should be.
