Few days back Neelanjali of @nomadicbooknerd_neel and Tanvi of @consuming_literature_ tagged me in #ageinfacts & #knowthebookstagrammer tags, respectively. So, here are 23 facts about me.

🌼 I am an EXTC engineer.

🤍 I rejected my Coding job which I had got in campus placements to follow my passion (content writing) although I had bagged that job with my coding skills. 🙈😄

🌼 I can develop WordPress based static/dynamic blogs/websites.

🤍 I was featured in Maharashtra Times’s DP Update Column in Sep 2020.

🌼 I was/am raised by a single parent who is my mother.

🤍 There is no one in my family who reads as voraciously as me.

🌼 I was amongst toppers in almost all of my classes & bagged many academic awards.

🤍 2020 has been one of the most wonderful years in my life. (Yes, this is a fact) 😍

🌼 I love cooking, especially non-veg.

🤍 I love playing badminton.

🌼 I am an ambivert; but more towards introvertedness.

🤍 I prefer either chatting or personal meetings, nothing in between which are calls. (Ik this is weird 🤭)

🌼 Recently, I have developed an interest in Astronomy & I'm loving it.

🤍 I am pluviophile & Selenophile.

🌼 I love cute stationaries rather than professional ones.

🤍 I am a weird combo of techie + literature enthusiast. 😄

🌼 I am a big fan of 90s BW songs and films.

🤍 I suck at free hand drawing/sketching.

🌼 My mother tongue is Marathi & in childhood, I mostly read marathi books.

🤍 I prefer fiction and non-fiction books equally. Like, I can’t discriminate since they both are
equally important in any reader’s life.

🌼 I am neither a dog person nor a cat person and the biggest reason for this is I have
histamine allergy i.e. allergy by their furs.

🤍 In school, I used to love the Sanskrit language a lot & I always used to excel in that. I
want to keep that love for Sanskrit alive by studying further. I don’t know when I will start
learning. But I wanna do this.

🌼I wanna go on Solo trip before I turn 25.

Tagging few of my wonderful Bookstagram friends. Would love to know about you all! 😍☺️

Anyone who is willing to do this tag can do it. 🤍

BOOKTAGS

Yesterday, @nomadicbooknerd_neel tagged me in two interesting tags which are #sixcountriessixbooks and #favoritelinesfromfavoritefictionalcharacters.

I loved this idea and couldn’t resist myself from doing it ASAP. So, here I am doing it. Yayy!! 😍🤍

P.S. Please allow me to mention 7 books because all these are so close to my heart and I want you all to know these beautiful lines from them.

🤍 Norwegian Wood - Japan
Reiko - "Things will go where they’re supposed to go if you just let them take their natural course. Despite your best efforts, people are going to be hurt when it’s their time to be hurt. Life is like that."

🤍 Little Women - Massachusetts, USA
Jo March - "I do think that families are the most beautiful things in all the world!"

🤍 It’s all in the planets - India
"Yes. We are dealt cards. That is fate. But we do have free will. What we do with the blows that land on us is up to us. We can fight and emerge stronger than before. or we can give up.”

🤍 Frankenstein - Italy, Switzerland, Germany
Monster - “I could not understand why men who knew all about good and evil could hate and kill each other.”

🤍 The color purple = Georgia, USA
Nettie - “I will find a new church in our community that has no idols in it whatsoever, in which each person’s spirit is encouraged to seek God directly, his belief that this is possible strengthened by us as people who also believe it.

🍪FRIENDS and cookies🍪

Several batches are ready... how do you like your chocolate chip cookies? 🍪
I saw @greigsbooks post a list of books he believed the FRIENDS characters would read #friendsbookstack
🍪
Since then I've created my list from available novels in my possession and waited for this Official Cookbook to be released--yesterday!
🍪
There is no mocklette in these cookies but I did use Phoebe's grandma's recipe from a cute French town Nesele Toulouse. Also, I made the recipe in the cookbook which was considered a successful batch. No batch 16 here!
🍪
Ross would never admit it but he owns a copy of Jurassic Park and likely had written several letters to Michael Crichton countering claims.
🍪
Chandler would be a fan of Game of Thrones and definitely spent his savings on a replica Iron Throne
🍪
Joey would read The Ice Dragon. A GRRMartin illustrated children's book. 🍪
Monica would love this Pride and Prejudice edition with Martha Stewart recipes.
🍪
Rachel only reads magazines, but I think she'd make an exception for The Royal We
🍪
Phoebe has lived many lives and would enjoy the accuracy of Outlander, and likely compares it to her own experiences!
🍪
Your thoughts?
🍪
Everyone is free to create their own list from their personal library. These characters would have many books and I'm interested to know what you think!
