Little Canada 🍁 or The Blue Pool is a hidden gem in Dorset, and this time of year i think it comes to life. The trees start to change to orange, the leaves cover the paths, the robins come out in force, the coffee tastes better, the pool looks bluer and autumn is well and truly underway! We arrived at 9.30am and had the place to ourselves 🫶🏻 You only really need an hour to wander, sip a coffee and see it from all sides but the tea room and gift shop is so cute that you could easily spend a morning pottering. Okay, so it’s not quite Canada, but it does make you feel that little bit closer to the tall trees and blue lakes that I seem to miss on an every day basis! 📍 @the_bluepool #autumn #autumntrip #dorset #autumnvibes #littlecanada

Blue Pool, Trail of Enchanted Doors A few weeks ago I took the little ones to one of our favourite places, Blue Pool, to follow the new Trail of Enchanted Doors and we all loved it! The trail takes you along the paths around the pool, where you have to look out for clues about the fairy doors. Once you have found the doors (some are much easier to spot than others!) you count the acorns on the door and write the answer on your sheet. You can then check your overall answer in the gift shop, although we forgot to do this bit at the end! We really enjoyed the trail as it takes you on a slightly different path to their usual ones, although I would say it felt a bit longer than normal which is worth noting if you have very little ones with you. Pushchairs can be very difficult to get around with, so I’d recommend a carrier for smaller ones. As always we finished with a trip to the cafe, definitely needed by all after working hard to spot all the doors! #bluepool #thebluepool #toddlerdaysout #fairydoors @the_bluepool

Trip No.1: 5 days in Swanage, Dorset 🏕️ . Peggy’s first adventure and wow it was a winner 🥳💗 Despite having two little people to keep entertained, I’ve never had such a relaxing holiday. The kids were wild and free, found joy in simply being outside and completely fitted in to caravan life. Plus Swanage is going down on the must-visit-again list. There was so much to see and I feel like we only scratched the surface! Complete 10/10 🌟👌🏼 . What should we add to our list next time we visit Dorset? . My hoomans took me on my 1st holiday it was awesome. Got to go to the beach for the 1st time. Saw some beautiful parts of Dorset and got to sniff sooooooo many new smells. They made sure I got ice cream when they did too. My hoomans are the best.
