Am I a runner?
Not really.

Am I starting to run more and realizing I have things to work on?
💯

As a trainer and Pilates instructor I am doing what I can to be my own best client, moving the way my body needs for longevity, recovery and mobility.

Incorporating these Pilates moves as I increase mileage is becoming a nonnegotiable.

Because The Curvy Glow pop-up class filled up before I even got a chance to properly share it with my friends and the BP community, we are doing a weekend 2! Join us on Sunday, 8/9, from 2-3:15 pm at The Body Process for a class designed to help you feel safe, confident, and comfortable in your body on and off the reformer.
.
Together, we will explore safe modifications and appropriate props to help make Pilates more accessible to curvy bodies. Rather than feeling drained and fatigued, this class aims to have your body and mind feeling challenged, energized, nourished, and sexy.
.
Pilates is for every body to move more freely in their daily lives. The Curvy Glow is a welcoming, judgment-free space where you can build strength, improve mobility, and leave feeling empowered.
.
See you at the studio!

Meant to post this earlier as we are so excited to announce The Curvy Glow, a pop-up beginner-friendly class designed for curvier bodies taught by me, on Sunday 8/2, at 2 pm. Before we got to announce this on IG and send out emails, word got out and the 8/2 date sold out within 24 hours!
.
But good news, we are having a second one the following week on 8/9! Sign up on thebodyprocess.com before all spots are snapped up!!

While I have SO MUCH to work on and so many physical challenges to face, the past version of me who did not have the core strength (or understanding of what the serratus anterior is, how important it is to use your entire leg to plank, and really, the movement pattern in my body) to do a modified plank on the reformer would be proud.
.
@dmpearre, I will always remember your smile at that moment! And I will likely tell this story over and over again as it’s one of the proudest moments in my Pilates journey!

Idk how @niftyninaco didn’t elbow me cuz I would have been annoyed at someone telling me to relax while my hip flexors were getting stretched. For those wanting private sessions with this level of attention, DM me to book me on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at @the_bodyprocess! And maybe weekends. My schedule can be flexible.

Ngl, the way Pilates has strengthened my body so I can move more fluidly does make me feel like a better bitch. #pilates #pilatesteaser #pilatesteacher #pilatesteachertraining

Tonight is my last night on the regular schedule @the_bodyprocess

If it were a permanent goodbye, I would write a full love letter to the community, its leader @magenbfit and to myself for my time there. However, it’s simply "ta-ta" for now, so I’ll say this: teaching at The Body Process has been instrumental in the creation of the teacher I have become. It has opened the doors to many opportunities, but also a window to my soul.

I am forever grateful.

It’s like you’re floating!! I think the jump class enjoyed this one. I am on just one blue here so the focus could be more on abs rather than forcing a big jump. The softer you jump out, the more air time you get. Gentle, dainty jumps!

First, if you’re in San Diego, take the Unwind class at @nourishedbodypilates. I used to take it every week before @embracebymichelle moved away.
.
Second, I need to remember to make time to roll around in balls more often. It’s the best reset my body needs after asking it to do challenging things and wrangling dogs. It’s also a physical reminder to be kinder to my body and to treat it to self-massages regularly.
.
How do you unwind?
