First IDPA match.... I wasn't allowed to shoot for actual standing because the @mclearncustompewpews Kopesh is too bad ass for IDPA parameters. However I took 6th overall and had an overall stage win. ( Last stage of the video) The theme of this match was Zombie Apocalypse. Stage designs were fun with alot of them requiring two hits to the head box and quite a few requiring the "Mozambique drill". While I definitely enjoyed the match, USPSA will always have my heart for competitive shooting. @sofletehq wind jacket for the win.

Quick and dirty review of the @or_tactical Allies Mountain jacket, and what you need out of a rain layer. TL/DR: the Allies jacket keeps water out, vents heat and moisture even with LBE, and can function as a uniform top without one being worn under it. All requirements of your rain layer in a military / @milsimwest setting. Let me know what you think and what you’re rocking for wet weather. Vid creds to @airsoftxgreenville

Not everything is banned by the TSA! Here are a few tools that we have traveled with all across the U.S. - and internationally. The @wildernesstactical Wombat Backpack - this pack (seen here in Europe) has travelled all over the world, seen everyday use for years, and somehow still looks brand new. With rugged durability, a rear slot for soft armor (IIIA that has never been denied for travel) and hidden pockets, this is the perfect pack that doesn’t look “tacticool”. The CUF - in collaboration with @apexdevelopment.co , we produced the CUF to help us carry essential med gear everywhere, even to other countries. Yes - the mini X-Shears are allowed. Here it is at Edinburgh Castle in Scotland, manning the battlements. Basic pens, Rite-in-the-Rain pencils, and “Sharpies” - seen here mid-flight, this bundle of writing implements is accepted worldwide. Here’s the CUF, in place and in flight, somewhere over CONUS. Yes, those are Kelly clamps behind the shears. Knipex Cobra XS and Klein Stubby Multi - essential tools for fixing minor problems, in flight during a training trip. **Be aware that these may not be allowed flying OUT of the U.K.** Black Hills Designs SHOVE-R - made for opening certain doors when they’re not supposed to be opened, seen here far from home and about to open this door. Sevenpark Camera, GPS and WiFi detector - easily detect if there’s a hidden signal that you need to know about, perfect for AirBnBs and other travel lodging. With a variety of other tools, we fly around the country - and the world - for training and for recreation. Ask us about what else we travel with! Have something surprising that you’ve found that’s accepted for travel? Post it in the comments below. Train with us: www.TrainingAZ.com - or hit the link in our bio. Muzzle Device Selection when selecting a Suppressor With Suppressors becoming increasingly more popular, we wanted to take a minute today and discuss the slight differences that muzzle device selection can make in the performance of your can. Generally speaking, if you plan to run your rifle suppressed all the time, a flash hider as shown on the left will lead to slightly better performance when firing. If you run your rifle both suppressed and unsuppressed and desire a muzzle device that will help keep your rifle shooting a bit flatter while also keeping muzzle flash to a minimum, the Warcomp as shown on the right is a better option. Ultimately, each are great muzzle devices and work great when suppressed. We bring these points up to you to simply consider when purchasing your new suppressor or setting up your new rifle to help it perform as optimally as possible. Remember, for all your Suppressor and Accessory needs, head on over to @eastvalleytactical_az and they’ll ensure you’re set up properly! What Suppressor and Muzzle device do you run on your rifle and why? Let us know in the comments below! Train with us: www.TrainingAZ.com - or hit the link in our bio. Great Saturday match @texasshootingvenue with the @mclearncustompewpews Kopesh. I was a bit slow all day but had great hits. Came in 18th out of 62 shooters and 7th in #limitedoptics Now to really increase my speed and stage planning.
