Insurgency Kit

I’m already starting to get stoked for this upcoming @mil GTI Insurgency. The new refined format we’ve been running this year focuses on Class Warfare and navigating that terrain.

How have you enjoyed the new Insurgency format? Let us know in the comments below! taken in Phoenix, Arizona by @the_capable_grunt

Field Maintenance and Tool kits

When going out and using your tools, it’s important to keep a simple cleaning and tool kit somewhere on your kit to help fix or tighten/swap out accessories on your equipment.

This is some of what Justin uses in his personal kit. He keeps his @fixitsticks_official and personal cleaning kit in his rucksack or his range bag depending on where he’s working, along with his trusted @leathermantools MUT on his body at all times to help him fix issues with his personal system that don’t require extra tools.

What are some of the maintenance items and tools you keep on your kit and why? Let us know what you carry with you in the comments below!

Hiking & Everyday Packs/bags

Recently, Justin has been running the @outdoorresearch HeyDay 20L Pack as his everyday bag and hiking bag. After running it and getting a decent amount of time behind it, he has come to love it. It’s compact, durable, sleek, and subtle. It has a variety of slots and pouches inside to hold pens, notebooks, computers, jackets, and more.

If you’re wanting to pick one up, dm us for a 15% off single use discount code and we’ll make sure you to send it to you before the holidays! Just a reminder, our 15% off codes stack on top of whatever other deals OR runs, so make sure to save your single use IDT code and prep for those Black Friday sales accordingly!

Wanna know what @milsimwest CADRE run when we use airsoft replicas? Here it is.

This is my main BB hose. It’s built by Spencer at the EPS and it absolutely rips. The thing I like most about the system is that I can easily swap uppers on it without a headache.

Jumping into @milsimwest

Did you know @milsimwest has Airborne Infiltrations? We do them a few times a year where you’ll be led by experienced MSW CADRE Jump Masters into the DZ and into the fight. This weekend, @bluejeanoperator @mysteryboizinc and myself let the NATO forces into the fight and wiped the AO of the opposition.

In the video, you see us utilizing a @stingray_airsoft LAW launcher against an attack on our position. Their non-pyro launchers are definitely interesting and look neat when employed properly. Expect a review in the coming month.

@milsimwest NATO Helmet Set up

Are you new to MSW and looking for guidance on how to set up a NATO helmet? Check this out.

There’s 2 common ways to go with helmets, full cut or high cut. If you’re going with a bump helmet, that’s always going to be in line with a high cut set up.

Whatever you decide to run, this video helps give you some ideas on how to set up each in order to be effective at our events.

Today, Justin goes over how to make a simple spare roll of necessary clothing items to pack out with you when going on a hike. It’s always important to stay clean when out and about to help prevent any blistering, chafing, and likewise.

How do you pack out your spare clothing when hiking by yourself or with your family? Let us know in the comments below!

GBBR, AEG, or Blank Fire?

The three main different types of systems we use @milsimwest are Gas Blowback Rifles, AEG’s, and Blank Fire rifles (and sometimes HPA guns as well). For today’s video, I compare AEG’s and GBBR’s directly against each other to let you know the pros and cons of each system. In a later video, I will also be breaking down Blank Fire rifles and how I utilize them during events.

What platform do you prefer out of the 3 mentioned in the video? Let me know in the comments below! taken in Phoenix, Arizona by @the_capable_grunt
