When I 1st contacted Chad @storytellerphotographer , I knew I was racing time to have family photos while Swagger & Fiona were still well. My sweet boy Swagger didn't make it, & I wrestled w/ whether or not to still have our family portraits done, feeling like my family was incomplete w/ Swags gone. But then I knew I would regret it if I didn't take the opportunity w/ my Fi while i had it.

Chad Bonk isn’t just a photographer — he is truly a storyteller behind the lens. These are the most beautiful family portraits we’ve ever had taken & some of the most beautiful portraits I’ve seen.

I knew these photos would be special, but I honestly wasn’t prepared for just how much. Anyone can pick up a camera & take pictures, but Chad is truly a master at his craft & I'm so thankful for Chad sharing his talent with us, and for telling our story so beautifully. These photos mean the world to me!! 💖

Our hearts are heavy today as we grieve with our friends, Carolina & Justin @furrescuefashions , who helped their beautiful angel, Cielo, peacefully leave this world yesterday ❤️‍🩹 With great loss comes great pain & we are holding them tightly in our hearts & are praying for their grieving hearts.

To Cielo, my sister from another mister, you fought hard, & brave & always in style, & you DID kick cancer's butt!! You were a survivor, a warrior, an advocate, THE fashionista of fashionistas. But more than all that, you were a sister to your fur family, the best foster sister to countless puppies, your mom's best friend, her baby girl & her hero. It's been a huge pleasure to watch your beautiful life lived out loud here on IG, & to be able to honor you and support you as part of #cielosquad 🦄 And don't you worry, we will be here to support your mama as she misses you.
