A quote that hit me like a ton of bricks. 💔 On Sept 30th, it'll be 4 years since we said goodbye to Cameron, our li'l Cam•the•Ham. This account began so I could share the most adorable, comical, lovable & trouble making lil cleft pocket bully with the world of IG. Cam lived out loud, never met a stranger & he lived his little life to the fullest.

I've struggled with renaming this account. It began as The Adventures of Cam the Ham. After he passed & we adopted Alvin, it changed to Cameron_Cutey keeping with the meaning behind the name "Cameron". The grief still stings when you least expect it to. But life does go on. We continue to love the imperfect & recycled dogs in our home.

These days, this account showcases the lives of Boone & Alvin, but Cameron is forever tied to it, as he is forever a part of me. If you're new here, scroll back to look at the posts of his beautiful little life.

Some lights shine so bright because they weren't meant to shine long. That was my Cameron 🐾💙✨️🌟🌈

When I 1st contacted Chad @storytellerphotographer , I knew I was racing time to have family photos while Swagger & Fiona were still well. My sweet boy Swagger didn't make it, & I wrestled w/ whether or not to still have our family portraits done, feeling like my family was incomplete w/ Swags gone. But then I knew I would regret it if I didn't take the opportunity w/ my Fi while i had it.

Chad Bonk isn’t just a photographer — he is truly a storyteller behind the lens. These are the most beautiful family portraits we’ve ever had taken & some of the most beautiful portraits I’ve seen.

I knew these photos would be special, but I honestly wasn’t prepared for just how much. Anyone can pick up a camera & take pictures, but Chad is truly a master at his craft & I'm so thankful for Chad sharing his talent with us, and for telling our story so beautifully. These photos mean the world to me!! 💖

Happy double digits birthday to our boy, Boone!! 🧡 🎉 Goonie is 1️⃣0️⃣ ...going on 2️⃣, & I pray he stays a youthful senior.

Boone is our O.G. My fiercely devoted, mama's-boy, velcro-dog. My stafe 5 clinger. A vigilant watch-dog who's a lover of humans & also terrifying to all who make deliveries & come here unannmouced. ☠️🤣

Boonie boy has been through the highs & lows w/ us over the last 9 years & this weekend we pushed the heaviness aside for a bit to celebrate our handsome ginger boy. Happy birthday, sweet Boone!! 🧡🥰🎉

Alvin & I took a much needed day trip away from the heaviness & heartache of the last 4 weeks & finally experienced what Jim Thorpe, PA has to offer.

Fall festival is in full swing! 🍂🍁🎃🌽🚞 This charming small, dog-friendly town looks like it right out of a Hallmark movie (without the bad acting 😂) Full of friendly people, well behaved pups & beautiful architecture & so many beautiful sights & smells. We took a train ride, walked the town & popped in dog-friendly shops & Alvin was the bestest good boy, making new friends all day. Aaand, whether you're with your pup or not, I highly recommend the Marion Hose Bar for an amazing meal. The bacon jam on their beef is to die for! 😋 It was just the perfect day we needed. 💕

I am completely blown away by this gorgeous engraved stone w/ the most precious flappy faced squishy boy. Just when the tears had paused some, I opened the box & saw this. 😭

There's something so truly special & comforting to have friends who understand your bond with your dog(s). Who know this kind of grief & grieve with you & support you through it.
