Won another ammy title this past weekend against a very tough and skilled opponent by second round submission. Thank you to everyone that helped get me ready and as always a big thank you to my coach and big bro @kiowa_dragon

Rolling with adults isn’t new to me.
I’ve slowly become more confident within myself rolling with higher ages and higher belts.
Sometimes I surprise a few people. Maybe he was letting me work, maybe I did get the choke tight, either I had a lot of fun.

I’m sorry I didn’t catch your name but you were nice to me and thank you for rolling with me, a lower belt who is still learning.

Last night was more than Jiu Jitsu. It was a reminder of why we train and the essence of what Jiu Jitsu creates.

No blurred lines of this gym or that gym. Just a group of people who love Jiu Jitsu came together and created one of the best experiences.

Thank you to @the_dragon_dojo and @culturebjjok.
The energy from both academies was unstoppable. Your students represented both gyms proudly. It’s obvious the hard work and dedication taught within your gym walls resonates within your students.

To all the black belts that attended, thank you for setting the example for your students. Grateful to share the mats with you all.

Congratulations to @milene.mpjj, @greener_on_the_otherside, and @jacobymendez_bjj. Well deserved.

Seminars are crazy cool.
Never know who you’re going to meet, what you will learn, and who you will surprise doing your favorite moves while sparring.
Grateful for the opportunity to be apart of it all.
Thank you to @the_dragon_dojo and @ef_brazilian_jiujitsu for allowing me and @culturebjjok to learn on the mats with you.
Thank you @heather_nickole22 for being my drilling partner always. You’re always there to teach me and lead me.
Thank you to @keilan24 and @whyled_ and @luizpauloddd_ for including me and believing that I can become better everyday.
Thank you @kiowa_dragon for the kind words last night and for also “throwing me to the wolves” 😆
