I’m so STOKED for the first episode of Meet Your Maker in 2026! ICYMI, Meet Your Maker is not my classical show- rather, I have the coolest gig hosting the official @makerspacenyc radio show where we feature makers, artists, innovators, and creatives from the community.

This Sunday, Jan 18th at 10am ET, join me for some conversation and tunes with artist and designer Em Flaire - @the_flaire. We met in the metal shop, and they are so versatile, talented, a real life rainbow, and was smack dab in the NYTimes this past fall. Find us on MPR.nyc and come hang - it’s gonna be such a good one.

Updates y’all! We’re currently in the process of rebranding for the gallery ❣️ With this new chapter, we’re also launching a new program: Nomad Series.

The Nomad Series is an ongoing curatorial journey that steps outside the traditional gallery format, collaborating with alternative, non-gallery spaces across different cities. Support by @3nter.org_ , an art incubator program based in NYC.

Group Exhibition “City Vacation”marks the first stop of this journey, begins at 68Jay Street Bar at DUMBO—a longtime downtown space with a history of supporting artists and creative communities. Opening gathering Dec 16th, 6PM to late

Through the visual languages of six artists, the exhibition unfolds as a psychological journey: moving from the external world to the internal one, from the literal reality to the dreamlike city, from surface perception to emotional depth. Each work functions as a stop along this city vacation, inviting viewers to step away from daily life.

❤️To all who came to the grand opening at @thenphm to hear/see the incredible stories by artists and cultural workers engaged in lifting up the universal right to dignified housing! 🤟🏽Grateful to Chief Curator @lisayunlee and Assoc Dir/Poet @tiff_beatty who believed in me — and paired me with @ravenswood_studio_inc — to realize the 250 linear foot wallpaper mural that I designed.

🎖️Feeling so honored that @theartnewspaper.official described my work as “monumental” and ❤️ that critic Gabriella Angeletti (@gabriella.angeletti) hones in on how it captures the “solidarity among public housing residents.”

For me, this commission from @thenphm is also meaningful, having interviewed so many older adults (swipe for pics) in Baltimore who lived through this era who telegraphed their experiences of mutualizing resources into the present day. The wallpaper emerges from collaborative research about how to build “structural resilience” with #SarahSzanton, Dean at Johns Hopkins School of Nursing, and @maica_cs whose family contributed to this era of solidarity despite deep, systemic and race-based inequities.
