So excited to share this!! “Cadence” created by the brilliant @otobongnkanga is up now @themuseumofmodernart in the atrium! I had the incredible opportunity to work as the lead stone carver and metal worker on the anthracite coal (big rocks) in this piece and could not have done it without @hana.jackson and her hard work! We flattened each stone, cut grooves for 3 sizes of pallet jacks, custom fit metal channels, carved bowls and fit plugs to precise fits and more. Thank you so much to @domantayart and @powerhouse_arts (Brittni Collins, Daniel Quinn, Jeremy Gender) for inviting me to be a part of the awesome team that brought this to life. It was incredible to meet and collaborate with so many people and their deep knowledge of different ways of making. The people I worked most closely with were @domantayart who did an outstanding job of managing this project and caring for the team and work, @mariedianeucci and @jacob_olmedo who finger knit the stunning hanging ropes, @cuba_cubicle (assembly and digital renderings), Roberto Flores (cleaning, forklift, project support) and @lucycolebroo.k (Managment assistance). I also got to meet @graciewhiteside and their team @getstickyglass who fabricated the mesmerizing glass work. Tapestry fabricated @textielmuseum in the Netherlands, Raku vessels from a ceramics team in Spain, sounds design from @brooklynsoundandimage and rigging by @sapsisrigging. There were many more folks involved and so much to say about the work so I am adding links below. @otobongnkanga was truly a joy to work with and an artist making beautiful and meaningful work with such insight and care. It was an honor and pleasure to support this work coming into the world. This is a show you do not want to miss!!

Soooo I was on the cover of @nytimes last month!!! The article delved into Viola’s Room, a new show @theshedny which is @punchdrunkint second show in New York after Sleep No More! I was brought into this project by @domantayart as a part of the amazing set dressing team working under the head of set dressing @aquarella1309 and designer @caseyjayandrews to install this work. I then had the honor of being asked to come on full time as the head of set dressing for the run of the show after the punch drunk team headed back to London! This was (and is) such a massive team effort with many talented people so I am very happy I got to be a part of it! Come see the show it's really really cool :)))

Opening night of Here, There and Everywhere @brooklynmetalworks! I am so late in posting but this was such an honor to have work alongside such amazing artists and metalworkers in a place that means so much to me. The juried show features work from makers during their time at BKMW across the studio’s 15 years! I didn’t get photos with everyone that came out but so many lovely people came (thank you!!) and I had the best night! The show will be up until the end of August so go check it out :) taken in Brooklyn Metal Works by @the_flaire

My last opening before I move out of NYC is this Saturday @brooklynmetalworks from 7-9! So honored to be one of the folks in this juried show featuring artists who have worked at BKMW over the past 15 years!!!! Working in this studio has truly been one of the highlights of my past year and it’s wild to have a piece in this show alongside amazing artists, mentors, and friends :,)))

This exhibition will also be featured in Handwork: Celebrating American Craft 2026, a nationwide semiquincentennial initiative organized by Craft in America showcasing the diversity of the crafts that define the United States.
