If you know me, or you’ve been around here for a while, you’ll know I’m a bit of an (overly 😂) sentimental guy.

So when one of my wonderful customers asked me to create a memorial pin, I was all in.

Every little detail in this nail dressing holds a special meaning, and that’s something I took to heart while putting it together.

She asked that the feathers be bright enough to stand out against her black hat, and I think we accomplished just that with the beautiful peacock feathers.

There’s something pretty special about being trusted to create a piece that carries so much meaning. It’s a privilege I’ll never take lightly.

Thank you for trusting me with this one, H. It truly means a lot. ❤️

Here’s a fun one off the freshly cleaned bench — we’ll see how long that lasts 🫣😂

Some Southwest-ish colours and a copper rib seemed to complement these new feathers from my friends at The Fly Armoury perfectly.

I have the bright blue and tan wing feathers in very limited supply, so if you’d like to have some of these gorgeous feathers worked into your own hat pin, please reach out.

This one has found a hat to call home. 🌺

Please DM for inquiries.

My client, Jeff put the fly where it needed to be and hooked up with this 18 pound striper. Jeff, got casting lesson with @bronzefly and I truly believe that was the difference in him landing a big fish or not. If you are new to fly fishing and want to come catch a striper, I highly highly recommend getting a lesson @thargroveflyfishing

A fun one off the vise tonight, tied to match a pair of chaps worn by a guy I’ve always enjoyed cheering on.

I recently picked up some new feathers from my friends at @the_fly_armory and took the ringneck pelt for a spin. I paired a wood duck flank behind four ringneck pheasant feathers, then finished it with a larger feather that I’ve been hanging onto for a while. I’m still not sure what species it came from, but it felt like the perfect fit for this one.

I’m pretty happy with how it came together. 🌺 🪶
