✨De-Influence / Influence My TBR pt. 2... 2025 Edition✨Let me clear, this year I promised myself I wouldn’t buy any new books this year—and so far, I’ve been pretty good at holding the line for spending $$$ on books. My shelves have grown anyway, because apparently “don’t buy” is not the same as “don’t acquire.” (Important note to self going into 2026...)

In this stack, I only bought the one signed edition of “The Dream Hotel” from Shakespeare & Co (before they closed 😔), an Ocean Vuong giveaway win, an author gift, a birthday surprise, and a few too many BOTM picks I got using the credits I already banked from 2024. The result? My 2025 stack is already substantial, despite my best minimalist intentions. This along with my competing backlist TBR is no joke... so I ask for all of your amazing opinions and your help in making some difficult decisions.

I’m gonna stay strong this month and not give in to Katabasis. The library is my friend. The library is my friend. The library is my friend. Which upcoming release would you let sabotage your own book-buying ban?
