Apni FIRST AID - I don’t know what would have happened if this book wasn’t created🥹. This book is not only used for USMLE but also for NEET PG and FMGE nowadays.

Don’t judge the condition of this book…I handled it with extreme love and care😅.
PS : This week last year in 2022 I gave my USMLE STEP 1🫣🤞.
.
Question for you guys
- “Are you using this book? What do you think is special about this book?”
Will Pin the top 3 comments 🤞
ALSO LET’s START A TREND - POST A PIC OF YOU WITH YOUR FIRST AID AND TAG US IN THE STORY. WE WILL REPOST EACH AND EVERYONE’s. SO COME ON LETS GOOOOOO🔥💪🏻

Do you have a hard time staying motivated throughout the day? Why do we wake up so energetic and end up losing it all after a few hours?

While studying for STEPS this happened to me as well. As much as you’ve seen my motivation, there were days when I had to push myself over and over again, but a few things helped me overcome that!

1. Change your negative energy to positive energy- Instead of saying, “I can’t do this,”; say, “I can do this; I just need to figure out how.” Being optimistic and pushing yourself is a huge jump for motivation.

2. Make your “why” stronger. Why are you studying for Steps? Why are you becoming a doctor? You need to figure out your “why.”

3. Make your goals doable. Only put an attainable goal. Start small and see how it goes, and slowly keep adding on. If our goals are too overwhelming, we tend to run away from them.

4. Sometimes having an environment that isn’t supportive will throw you off. Surround yourself with people with similar goals. Determine what elements demotivate you; it could be your phone or your friends.

5. Make sure you’re getting good sleep! This threw me off always. I always needed my 8-hour sleep to perform amazingly the next day. Eat healthy, replace the chips with carrots and hummus, and replace candy with berries. And WORKOUT! Working out increases endorphins which will give you that extra push. You don’t need to do a 2-hour workout. Even a 20-minute HIIT workout at home Is ENOUGH.

6. Lastly, Practice gratitude. Don’t be impatient. Be grateful for how far you’ve come. Celebrate those time goals you accomplish. There is no shortcut to this long prep, but be consistent. You are doing this for YOURSELF. This is not a race or a competition with anyone.

I hope this helps!
