My performance at @lagoskpoetics was a poem I wrote back in April for my audition for Season 1 of @officialmicdroplive. I wrote it to echo the frustrated cries of thousands of Nigerians who are tired of feeling like asking for the bare minimum is asking for too much. I thought it was the perfect poem to perform on the weekend after Independence Day, especially now that we’re inching closer to another election season. I hope this poem, even in this short clip, moves you and stirs you to take up your civic responsibility and vote wisely. Thank you so much again, @myfriendscallmebigenyi, for the amazing opportunity to perform at the show. I’m forever grateful for it and honoured to have been a part of it. 🙏🏿 Yours truly, KVW

The last time we sang together, nobody wanted to go home. I miss that and I want us to do it again! No pressure participation… we’re just calling for a small group of singers who enjoy singing groups, to share our joy. @caleboniel @the_midefash and Michael are some of my favorite singers in the city, and it’s an honor to sing with them! Come through!! Drop a comment so we can reach out to you with more details. Love 💐
