I can’t put in words just how much this drum corps season meant to me. From sleeping on gym floors to sleeping through a bus breaking down in the middle of the night, each of these 55 days were filled with lasting memories. I grew not only as a player, marcher, and performer, but also as a person. So to the staff, members, and most importantly battery and 8BIG, thank you. Thank you for making this RCR family so incredibly special to me.

this season was one to remember. im very greatful i took a chance with rcr. the connections i made and strengthened were soo worth it. im so greatful for @abbeyvonne @paigetedesco & @headphone_jack12 for dealing with my sass and making me a much better player. thanks to @the_orff @willofband and @winterfyre_g for being my goons. and thank you @sam.reichenberg for dealing with me all summer. every funny moment, overwhelmed moment, or just playing dragon city with everyone helped me respect the grind. they ain't ready for whats next...

Week 7 FINISHED 11 DAYS LEFT

Before the home show, we had a clinic and it was a blast being next to some youngins (my age) and being able to have fun drumming. Then we had a show and tell with the brass and finally had rehearsal for the rest of the day. Also the auditorium in the high school was extremely nice

The next day we had our home show I think, we got to use our uniforms at this show and they were cool except for the arm sleeve being tight, the next day was a normal rehearsal and we fixed some lot drill and added new choreo while playing dragon City.

The next day we had our travel day going to DeKalb but first we had 2 rehearsal blocks where we got to really refine the show before DeKalb and then we had to EPL real quick for the 6 hour drive all the way to Illinois. I drank a lot of red bull, watched JJK, and played Clash, Brawl Stars, and DRAGON CITY!

At DeKalb I got to see my family for the first time ever and I had an amazing time at our lots, had a great run of the show, broke 70, got back up in drums as well. After the comp I got to see my peeps and hang out with my pops and watch the Cavaliers, Scouts, and PC. I ate 3 hot dogs thankfully not bought with my own money, thank you dad. Then we went to booths and bought stuff.

Then came the worst schedule of all time. We departed for Ohio at 11 PM and we didn't leave until 11:45, then it was a 7 HOUR DRIVE where we had a buy stop at around 4 in the morning but I mostly slept after we stopped. We got to the high school at 6:50 AM the next day and I had to get my stuff, unload the bus, and go set up my bed. We only got 4 hours of crappy sleep until 11 AM. We had to wake up, eat breakfast (I had 3 bags of chips), then DRIVE to the rehearsal site and unload the trailer, rehearse for 4 HOURS, go back for 1 piece of chicken for lunch, go back for a full ensemble until 8:30 PM. It was all good until the end because we got to go to CANES and I felt like a human again for a few hours.
