💔 A FATHER’S PRIDE. A SON’S MEMORY. Listen to the powerful words of Esmaeil Shokri, father of the late Sepehr Shokri. “I am proud of my son. He drank alcohol, but he was not a thief. He did not steal from his country.” A POWERFUL MESSAGE TO AUNT NARGES, the state television presenter who reportedly labelled those who took to the streets on January 8th and 9th as drunks. A grieving father standing proudly by his son, refusing to let his memory be dishonoured. His words expose the hypocrisy of a system that condemns ordinary Iranians while those in power face accusations of corruption and theft. And how beautifully, how proudly he said those words: JAVID SHAH! Sepehr Shokri was more than a name. He was someone’s beloved son. Listen to his father’s words. His voice deserves to be heard. WE WILL NOT FORGIVE. WE WILL NOT FORGET. 💔 #sepehrshokri #سپهر_شکری #massacreiniran #iran #javid_shah

URGENT HIS NAME IS KAZEM ALI-NEJAD BARANLOU. HIS LIFE IS IN DANGER. Another Iranian political prisoner is reportedly fighting for his life inside Tehran’s notorious Evin Prison. Kazem is suffering from serious heart and kidney problems. Yet, according to reports, prison authorities have denied him essential medication, including insulin, and refused to transfer him for specialist medical treatment. His condition has reportedly deteriorated so severely that he has developed wounds on his feet and can no longer walk. HE NEEDS URGENT MEDICAL CARE. INSTEAD, HE IS REPORTEDLY BEING DENIED IT. In desperation, Kazem has reportedly begun a DRY HUNGER STRIKE. NO FOOD. NO WATER. He has declared that he will continue until his demands for medical treatment are met. For someone already seriously ill, this could rapidly become fatal. Imagine being so desperate for medical attention that you feel your only remaining option is to risk your own life. HOW MANY MORE IRANIAN LIVES MUST BE PUT AT RISK BEFORE THE WORLD TAKES ACTION? No human being should have to beg for life-saving medication. No prisoner should be denied essential medical care. According to reports, Farzadi, the head of Evin Prison, and Nayeri, the judicial official overseeing political prisoners, have been named in connection with his case. Their responsibility for his access to medical treatment must be investigated. KAZEM NEEDS IMMEDIATE MEDICAL ATTENTION. We urge international human rights organisations, the United Nations and the world’s media to investigate his situation and demand urgent action. Kazem is not just another name or statistic. He is someone’s loved one. A human being whose life deserves to be protected. HIS LIFE MATTERS. HIS NAME MATTERS. Please share his story before it is too late. IRANIAN LIVES MATTER. HUMAN RIGHTS MUST NEVER BE SELECTIVE. #kazemalinejad #kazemalinejadbaranlou #iran #politicalprisoner #humanrightsviolations

Mahsa Amini. Sarina Esmailzadeh. Hadis Najafi. Nika Shakarami. Just four of the countless women murdered by the Islamic Republic. Aynaz Cyrus is one of the few who escaped. They tried to silence her. They tried to break her. Instead, she survived and now she’s exposing the truth about the regime and the crimes it committed against the people of Iran. Be their voice. Never forget their names. #women #mahsaamini #iran #womensrightsarehumanrights #regimechangeiniran 🎥 @diplo.act
