Client spotlight, Sujan Gill - @the_silver_lifter

Sujan and I have been working together for close to 4 years now! In that time shes racked up a pretty good resume in powerlifting. Competing in 5 events while earning a medal in all of them!

Over the summer she took some time off and came back with poise to do well in this years nationals. We went into the competition looking to just have a good day. After a rocky start missing her opening squat Sujan locked in and crushed her next two and matching her all time comp PR (172.5kg). Bench and deadlifts went 2/3, hitting a comp PR on her second bench (77.5kg) and matching her Comp PR on the second deadlift (162.5kg) and coming so close to hitting 170kg on her third.

She walked away with 3rd place adding to her all time medal count! Im so unbelievably proud of Sujan and the way she was able to rally herself back into training after the summer. She works so incredibly hard. I can’t wait to see where the future takes her!

Everyone doin their thing this week!!

@the_silver_lifter - Huge bench pr! We won’t talk about the onward motion though.. 3ish weeks to clean it up before heading to nationals! I’m super proud of her on getting back to where she was before the summer!

@lawrence_carr33 - Working through the injury and getting some reps in! Still got a ways to go but we’re seeing some great progress and strength is coming back!

@kyasarin_janai - A month ago 242 was her PR and she just ripped it for 3!!! Catherine’s been killing it lately and the results are showing! Pumped to see where she ends up on week 4.

@matthewmclean74 - Matt’s been working his ass off dealing with a couple nagging issues on his bench. But it’s starting to come back around! The strength is there for something big @gritpower in March.

@avalkfit - ANOTHER PR. This dude won’t stop!! It’s been great watching Ayden progress over the last couple months and see his strength go through the roof! Can’t wait to see the numbers he puts up at his first meet!

@marysbabylifts - Even through losing some weight Squat strength has been there! Im hoping we can get close to loading the third red at provincials. Squats are coming along nicely and the other two lifts are doing just as well.

Grateful for my people!

A good day overall got my 120kg Provs total. Westerns total isn’t too far off. Made it out pain free and a huge squat PR.

Just missing @lawrence_carr33 and a couple more!

Sujan was my very first client. We’ve worked together through a lot of ups and downs. Currently we’re training to compete at nations and then worlds! A lot of great things to come for her.

If you’re untested in training fill out the form in my bio and we’ll book a call to get you started!
