I keep hearing that section culture in Houston is dying, and maybe that’s why Matcha at Midnight makes so much sense right now.

People still want somewhere to go at night. We still want music, food, people around us and a reason to get out of the house. We just also want to leave feeling like the night gave us something.

That’s really what Matcha at Midnight is.

We completed our first ever Content Lab on Tuesday! 🥹💛

I had the best time getting to know the Houston women who booked with us, learning about their businesses, and watching their ideas come to life!

I also learned so much about how to make the next one even better. My biggest takeaway? We need more TIME! Especially for the ladies who are just getting started with content.

So next time, I’m thinking a hands-on workshop where we can learn AND create together!

We’re taking one Thursday off so next week can be the one the Hair Girls actually needed. 🍵

Matcha at Midnight is back Thursday, October 15 and this time we’re calling out the hairstylists, braiders, wig makers, K-tip girls, colorists, salon owners, and beauty creatives.

Not for a class.
Not for a panel.
Just a room full of women who get it.

Bring your laptop, your client list, your content ideas, your tired feet, your business questions, your hair sister, or the girl you keep meaning to collab with.

Everyone is welcome, but the Hair Girls are the focus this week.

We’re also opening vendor applications for anyone who wants to sell beauty products, hair products, accessories, treats, or anything that makes sense for the Matcha community.

The content had been sitting for THREE WEEKS. 😭

Then @coachedbyki came to Matcha at Midnight, locked in, and finally got it edited.

Sometimes you don’t need more time. You just need to get out of the house, get around other people getting things DONE, and lock in.

Someone called Matcha at Midnight the new Thirsty Thursday, and honestly, I love that for us. 🍵

We sold out last week, so we’re keeping it at a cool 100 people again this Thursday because the whole point is to have enough people in the room to make it feel social without turning it into an overcrowded party.

Come get some work done with Wi-Fi, charging ports, matcha, coffee, food vendors and a full bar, then stay for DJ Blake, who had everybody talking about how good his mixes were last week.

September 10, 7PM–1AM.

We sold out once and we fully expect to do it again, so grab your ticket from the link in our bio before Thursday.
