I won this amazing little set from @the_tiny_feast for the ”good enough to eat” prompt of #minijoymonth2026 . I must say I am extreamly happy with it, it looks so crispy and tasty. Very realistic it is and not only on pictures but in person too. Thank you Fiona, you are very skilled❣️🥰❣️

GOOD ENOUGH TO EAT

The Kitchen at the Tiny Chateau Étoile is always a hive of activity! Many different meals are being prepped and prepared for! The fish is being salt cured for tomorrow night, the pies are just coming out of the oven for tomorrow’s picnic, and large pot of Pumpkin Soup in a Pumpkin Pot is on the stove for tonight!

The fridge is always well stocked with wines, cheeses, & champagne! The Luna Tuna and Quart of Ice Cream may be frosted in to the upper freezer… the Chilled vodka is easily removable to get the evening going!

The hutch is laden with pickled vegetables from the garden… peppers, carrots, white asparagus, and of course PICKLES!!! And in the fridge Kalamata and Green olives are at the ready! (I made all of these fun foods with cupcake sprinkles & nonpareils… and uv resin)

I’ve also made a variety of cheeses from polymer clay… Roquefort & Edam in the fridge, and Gouda under the cloche on the work table. And there’s a bowl of tomatoes in the fridge that I made.

Another crossover to my life… in my real fridge there is always… chilled vodka! Wine! Champagne! Cheeses! Tomatoes (though usually the cherry variety), and Milk & Cream to make ice cream for my friends (a hobby I picked up over covid!)!

Everything in the kitchen of my Tiny Chateau Étoile definitely looks Good Enough To Eat!!!

I’m irrationally excited to share my latest miniature creation… a Maryland style crab feast, finished jussst in time before summer’s officially over.

Some of my favorite memories from home are exactly this. Sitting outside in the humidity, cracking open crabs like a barbarian, making a mess of Old Bay everywhere, and a cold beer to wash it all down. So much work for so little food 😅 Of course there’s hot dogs, burgers, corn, mac and cheese, but you keep going back to the crab pile because that’s the main event.

This scene took months to create. Some pieces came from my childhood collection, a few are gems from other miniature artists whose work I love, and everything else is handmade by me, from the burgers and sides down to every last one of those tiny crabs 🦀🦀🦀

Catching up with Day 5 of #MiniJoyMonth2026 organized by Stacey @vintagedollhouseshop, hosted by Fiona @the_tiny_feast, the prompt was ‘Good Enough to Eat’ 😋 There are many sweet treats that look good enough to eat in Dottie’s Café, but I may be biased 😆☕️ To highlight a few, @minithaiss’ strawberry charlotte cake and tart 🍓 Delectable pastries by @minichuubouan_tyakitchen and the slice of blueberry cake by @rina_vellichor 🫐💖 My Dad also built the framework for this room box 👌🏼 There are many pieces here made by fellow miniaturists, ask me if you’d like to know who made which piece.

I was out of town yesterday, so I missed the day 5 prompt. It is late but I wanted to share ‘Good enough to eat’ hosted by @the_tiny_feast Louisiana is known for food and the great variety of food. We do some of the best “get togethers”, celebrating or even tailgating. In my mini world, I have collected a few food items over the last couple years. Posting some of those foods here from varies miniaturist and a few. I really want to make some foods that say Louisiana. One of those is 🦞 crawfish so I can do a cookout screen. The last picture is of me eating boiled crawfish with my sister(not pictured) at one of our favorite places that burned down. One time some kid my mom had visiting took a BITE out of my mini clay pizza!! 🫠

Inherited by a friend who gifted them to me. A gesture that meant more than words can express after losing all I had just months prior. ❤️ Her aunts passion will always be kept alive in my home.

Occasionally I dabble in making mini food with multiple mediums. I use polymer clay, UV resin , paper, air dry clay, and sometimes 3-D printing. Here are a few of my favorite makes over my 6 years of mini making. 🫣😁
