“MIGRATION OF THE MIND”
Migration doesn’t begin with the body; it begins in the mind. Long before any physical crossing, an internal journey unfolds—shaped by imagination, desire, hope, and uncertainty. The mind travels first, crossing borders through dreams of opportunity and the quiet dissatisfaction of the present.
In this piece, a stagnant human figure contrasts with thoughts that stretch outward like a splash of interconnected nations. It captures the tension of being physically present but mentally elsewhere, navigating delusional thoughts that may never become reality.
“Migration of the Mind” speaks to a generation straddling both geographical and psychological boundaries. It reveals how societal pressure and expectation can relocate a person internally long before a journey begins—and sometimes, even if it never does.
