Sharing and promoting our work on this platform becomes increasingly challenging every day. Due to the constant changes that amplify obstacles and make it harder to grow within this network, this year’s 36 Days of Type challenge took a different turn, hosted unofficially by the incredible and super talented @carlycivello.

Despite these challenges, this was the year I managed to connect with more creatives and explore their work. The fierce competition every year often leaves equally amazing projects in the shadows, but that wasn’t the case in this edition, and for that, I’m incredibly grateful. Throughout these (almost) 36 days of the challenge, I discovered wonderful creative colleagues. Keeping up with the pace isn’t easy, and it’s okay if we don’t reach the end. We’re all human, and this challenge is essentially about exploring visual languages, having fun, and inspiring each other.

With that said, I want to express my gratitude to everyone who participated and supported each other’s work in the community. It was a beautiful experience, and I look forward to seeing you all next year. 🥺🫶🌻

🎨 Be sure to explore the work of these talented creatives; it extends far beyond this challenge. Follow them, like, and share if you enjoy what you see.

What a beautiful community! 🫶😭🤗

P. S.: I’m sure I forgot to mention someone, and I apologize in advance for that. I’m a 33-year-old cat lady and graphic designer (this last adds 50 years to my real age), pretty much cuco. 😭

I'm convinced that if aliens were ever to visit earth they'd feel bad for us and start giving out free pizza

So ofc I made this little packaging design for the aliens (specifically, for my favourite alien @thealienaurora and her #cosmiccreativity23 challenge!) 👽

When do you first recall being abducted? (By your cat who stole your heart?!) haha that’s the vibe of this piece. This is a custom commission for @thealienaurora who won my giveaway! It was such a fun creative piece. Making art for other artists always intimidates me, especially when they’re super talented like Aurora! Her style is very much alien, and she loves her cat haha. She wanted one of my spacey style pieces and said she wanted her cat and a ufo in it! So I had the idea to have her cat abducting her (well a woman loosely inspired by her likeness). Cats are super hard to draw especially when they’re really fluffy haha so this girl was a labor of love but so worth it.
Then after I was done I popped this thing in the new @procreate dreams just for fun! Seriously this animation app is so fun and so easy to use that I think I even did tooooo much haha but it was seriously a blast to make!

I absolutely love love love doing creative commissions like this and I hope I get to do more in the new year! If you’d like to work together to bring your ideas to life, send me a DM!
