The year of film. 🎬🎥🎞️

At 8 years old, watching spy kids, all I ever wanted to do was make movies with my friends. 🍔

Shout out to all the talented friends that made these projects happen.

This is why I don’t read. Book Club is now streaming on @tubi as part Bite Size Terror. There are some bangers in this anthology.

So grateful for the cast and crew who gave their all to make this film happen. The payment is the hang.

Season 1, Episode 8. Happy Halloween.

Huge thanks to @colleenintvland and @soopisgoodfood for steering the ship on Tubi’s Bite Sized Terror and making this whole thing possible.

Book Club is out now on @tubi 🍂🔪

Kick off the fall season with some horror shorts! Huge thank you to @hannahalline for bringing me on to cast this project. Loved bringing old and new friends together for this one. These ladies are extremely talented, and the whole ensemble is seriously chilling.

Go give it a watch!

AMERICAN VERMIN won a prize at @fantastic.fest that the judges CREATED in deliberations…WHAT?!!! We just wanted to be in the room, we never expected to win anything. So when @catherinehardwicke announced we’d won a camera package from @blackmagicdesign (presented by @fangoria!) PLUS she and the other judges (Gore Verbinski and PLAY HOUSE’s @nicolascurcio and @kirbygladstein!!!) had decided to mentor us for a year, the sound that comes out of @theanniejacob’s lungs in this video (peep @_alexbock_’s adorable reaction) is what would have come out of mine if the announcement didn’t knock the wind right out of me. I think the judges were moved to enlist in the VERMIN army by our protagonist Lupe, a Latina asylum seeker and badass final girl ready to kick some U.S. Army ass as the setting reveals a much-needed history lesson. And if anyone’s not ready for Lupe…our mutant cockroaches will show them the way. 😈🪳

HUGE congrats to the winning team @joshfarnworth and @connnormartinn with their amazing terrifying evil dad getting revenge at a wedding project FATHER FIGURE! Those guys are so ready to deliver and I can’t wait to see the result of next year’s whirlwind.

This is truly the most otherworldly thing that has (and probably will ever) happen in my career! We are making this movie, and it’s gonna pack a gargantuan double-whammy punch of pure entertainment and potent social commentary due to the creative investment of all those above.

So much gratitude to @chroma_presents and @fantasticfest for creating this indie genre film rocket launcher. Thank you for making this happen @ahbracadabra, @edenbliss, @beverage_sam, and so many more. Thank you to @jordanbastian and Eden for your unwavering support and mentorship. We love you all and everything you’re doing for the indie genre community. You’re gonna save cinema!!!

We’re so excited to announce that H.P.V. is an Official Selection of the 2026 @catalinafilm festival! ✨

We’ll be closing out the “Bad Ideas, Good Stories” shorts block this Saturday, September 26 at 3:00 PM at Lancer Auditorium.

Every opportunity to share this deeply personal film with a new audience means the world to us. What began as a story rooted in women’s health, fear, intimacy, shame and the things we’re often taught to suffer through quietly continues to travel and we’re so grateful for every room it enters.

Catalina Island, we’ll see you Saturday! 🏝️🤍

Had the incredible opportunity to be one of six teams selected as part of the Fantastic Pitches. After weeks of hard work, we finally presented our pitch on the big stage in Austin, Texas to a jury of very talented filmmakers and were surprised to find out that not only did we win a prize of a free BlackMagic camera package provided by @fangoria , but that the jurors themselves created an additional prize on the spot because they loved the concept so much. So proud to announce that for our feature film American Vermin, we will now have Gore Verbinski, Catherine Hardwicke, Nicolas Curcio, and Kirby Gladstein as our mentors.
What an honor to be mentored by all of these amazing artists. We are so thrilled and can’t wait to get started!

Thank you so much to @jordanbastian_ , all of the wonderful folks at @chroma_presents , @fangoria, and @fantastic.fest for all of your support and having us be a part of such a special event. We’ll certainly remember this moment 🪳❤️

CINCINNATI… LOOK WHAT I’M BRINGING HOME WITH ME!!!

Tomorrow is a big day! We’re coming back and this time we get to bring H.P.V. home to @cindependentfilmfestival for the Opening Night screening! And waitttttt there’s more!

Literally screaming. This is my first nomination for BEST DIRECTOR, and my brilliant amazing talented leading lady @taylorpolidore is nominated for BEST ACTRESS for the beautiful, vulnerable, completely UNHINGED 😭😍performance she gave as Kaleigh.

And before the big night, I’ll be participating in Cindependent’s Deep Dive, “Moving On,” to talk about what it means to leave Cincinnati to pursue this career and how the place that raised us continues to shape the artists we’ve become.

THURSDAY 9/17
Deep Dive: Moving On | 2:15 PM
H.P.V. — “Homebodies” | 8:00 PM

There’s something surreal about leaving home with a dream and getting to come back with something you made.

Cincy, we OTW!

Inspo and bts of a project earlier this year, Jamba-LIAR 🤭 It’s running around in all the comedy festivals right now!
I’m not the mom, I’m just tall.

Bonus clip: @tkaye96 demonstrating perfect hurdle-jump form and definitely not hurting herself in the process.
