From discomfort to strength 💪✨

The journey on the mat is rarely about reaching a picture-perfect pose—it's about what happens when we stay.

Lately, between all the running and training, my glutes and hips have been incredibly tight. This sequence relies on more closed-hip positioning to get deep into the glutes, but these targeted stretches always have a way of bringing more than just physical tension to the surface. They bring up mental noise, resistance, and that instant urge to escape.

When life throws its inevitable twists and turns, learning how to sit with that discomfort on the mat becomes our greatest training ground off the mat. Through every deep stretch and unexpected shift, the practice teaches us to breathe, find our center, and anchor into our own strength—even when everything feels completely upside down. 🌀✨

Were adding High South Track Club Speed Training indoors to our Garage athletes x their High South runners will be adding strength and longevity training to their program! Our pilot starts next week: enjoy sharpening you running mechanics and building speed all winter long. Mondays & Fridays @4pm

A summer of getting “wrecked so gracefully” together 😎

And while I may be expanding my teaching beyond kettlebell work into more strength training, mobility, and bodyweight work, kettlebell flow will always have my heart. It was the modality that inspired me to lead in this space and I truly believe it’s the future of fitness.
