‘Same Roots, New Branches’
Same Roots, New Branches is a continuation of 2024: If It Ain’t Broke, Don’t Fix It, deepening the exploration of Black traditions, memory, and joy. While the previous exhibition honored the rituals that ground us-music, food, and everyday moments— this body of work examines how those same roots evolve across time, generations, and personal growth.
Through a new series of paintings, this exhibition reflects the ways culture adapts while remaining rooted in legacy. It celebrates how inherited traditions are reimagined, expanded, and carried forward-proving that while the roots remain the same, the branches continue to grow in new and meaningful directions.

I figured I would install my gallery wall before the year ends! 🖼️ Long overdue. Even if you don’t get it done until the last few days of the year, keep the promises you make to yourself. I moved back to Atlanta two and a half years ago, and I am slowly but surely getting my place in order. 🙏🏽

Can’t wait to put a picture frame in the middle of the Numark turntable. 💿

I’m sure I’ll be making adjustments ten more times before I completely fall in love with it, but you have to start somewhere. Get your house in order! 🙏🏽🫶🏽

HUNNID DOLLA ART FAIR pt. 1

SUPER GRATEFUL for the connections and support received these past two days. It’s a blessing to be apart of this exhibit, to be able to network with so many unique artists & curators. To have my work embraced in this way over the past 48 hours means the world to me. I want to give a big THANK YOU to all of the investors who spent their hard earned money to purchase some of my work to put in their homes/spaces. Anyone that knows me, knows how passionate I am about my work so I pray these pieces give you the feels I’ve had from making them to now seeing them go to their new homes. Best part about this all is that we’re not done.
HDAF is back next weekend 12/13 (my bday 🥳) & our closing ceremony on 12/20 so if you missed a chance to pop out, have no fear, you have another chance!

Still a couple pieces left so come get em while you can before Christmas hits🎅🏾

Glory to GOD, Much love & Happy Holidays 🤩🙌🏾
