@EquityUK’s #GameOn campaign continues to fight for fairer pay, conditions and a collectively bargained agreement in a sector where pay has stagnated for TWENTY YEARS.

In order to deal more effectively with the vendors and studios, we need to hear from YOU about the lay of the land in Games right now.

‼️ Please fill in our GAMES PAY AUDIT and let us know anonymously what you’re facing, and what you’re being paid, working in Games at the present time. It only takes a few minutes and will be hugely valuable for all our members.🙏🏻

Search your inbox for ‘Games Pay Audit’ or click the survey link in our bio or story highlights. Please share with fellow games performer members.

We’re asking for your help to get Burnham’s Government to act on AI and copyright.

Alongside fellow members of the Creators’ Rights Alliance, we are urging everyone to stand up for human creativity.

We need your help: please add your voice by signing the petition asking the
Government to introduce clear rules and regulations to ensure that whenever
copyright protected work is used by tech companies, it is used with transparency, consent, proper licensing, and fair remuneration.

Anna Ganley, CEO of the Society of Authors and Chair of the Creators’ Rights
Alliance says: “We’re calling on Government to protect and enforce UK copyright law. Human creators need to know how and where their work is used, so that they can be fairly paid. Nobody expects to work for free, or for their property to be stolen without means to redress. We need tech companies to be accountable for their actions." (@thesocietyofauthors)

🚨 WE ARE BETTER THAN THIS — HUMAN CREATIVITY DESERVES PROTECTION

We’re asking for your help to get the Government to act on AI and copyright. This is crucial that we stand united and take heed.

Alongside fellow members of the Creators’ Rights Alliance, we’re calling for clear rules to ensure that when copyright-protected creative work is used by tech companies, there is:

✊ Transparency
✊ Consent
✊ Proper licensing
✊ Fair remuneration

Creators should know how and where their work is being used — and be fairly paid for it.
Nobody expects to work for free. Creative work has value, and copyright law needs to protect the people who create it.

📢 Please add your voice and sign the petition calling on the Government to introduce clear protections for creators.
