It’s fair to say @thebandsunspot blew everyone away with their acoustic set last year, so we just had to have them back to play a FULL BAND set! Bristol’s finest and a handsome bunch to boot, we’re ecstatic for them to be back for Ripper Fest 2! 🌊 Grab your tickets now (link in bio) and let’s raise some vital funds for @forestholmehospicecharity 💚

Esoteric indie-lofi act Weatherday make their Cardiff debut this May, where they'll be joined by Bristol's indie-pop five piece Sun Spot, and a rare solo set from Cardiff's very own emo tinged slowcore group Heart Piece.

Show is well on it's way to a sell out, grab tickets now !

It’s not exactly any kind of secret that 2025 has been an incredibly challenging year for me - however, I couldn’t be more grateful for all the wonderful people that I have the pleasure of spending time with, creating with, being silly with, and most of all have the honour of calling my friends. I love you all so much and I can’t quite express how much it means to me to have had your support this year!!

From an incredible string of 30th birthday bashes that I don’t think I’ll ever forget, to joining @uncertaintyhc as their new four string king and touring with the turbo legends in @drysocketpdx, playing and recording with @thebandsunspot and @old.moll, exploring Turkey with the rents, to of course - ringing in the holiday season by covering Nickelback with some of my nearest and dearest.

This year has been a great opportunity to grow and reflect on who and what matters to me most and I couldn’t be excited more for 2026.

Seeya there xx

(P.S. @emily_millie we need more nice photos together pls)
(P.P.S. and by that, I mean of me because you always look stunning 🩷)

With just one week to go until @simplethingsuk makes its highly-anticipated return to Bristol, we thought we’d take the opportunity to speak to some of our staff and find out who they’re most looking forward to seeing…

Which acts are you looking forward to at this year’s festival?

If you haven’t got your ticket yet, there’s still time - head to the link in our bio to view the full line-up, check out the Clashfinder and much more.

@ripperfestival - September 2025!

It was lovely to be asked to photograph this new local festival, raising funds for @forestholmehospice. A great one-day festival featuring lots of upcoming artists and taking place at @bearsbarandvenue @bearcavegigs in Bournemouth.

Thank you to George & the team for inviting me & putting on such a great event.

Here's just a few favourite shots I took that day!

Last night’s gig. Mass of the Fermenting Dregs over from Japan and clearly having a great time on tour. Local support from Waldo’s Gift and Sun Spot.

We’re buzzing for the incredible @thebandsunspot to come across from Bristol to treat us to a rare acoustic set! These guys push the sonic boundaries in their sound to create something truly special, you won’t want to miss their set 🌊

Popped over to Sheffield for chip buttys and the final show of our tour with @thebandsunspot (beauties) and @quakingaspensmusic, then down to play in London with @ochresongs, some pretty Brighton scenes, farewells in cosy pubs and ending on a high playing a BBC Introducing live session…
