Esoteric indie-lofi act Weatherday make their Cardiff debut this May, where they'll be joined by Bristol's indie-pop five piece Sun Spot, and a rare solo set from Cardiff's very own emo tinged slowcore group Heart Piece.

Show is well on it's way to a sell out, grab tickets now ! by @thebandsunspot

JUST ANNOUNCED: @ripperfestival, Sat 12 Sep / @bearsbarandvenue, Bournemouth 🌊

ICYMI, last year we had the honour of performing a stripped back acoustic set at the inaugural Ripper Fest - curated by our friends in @thelonelysurf. 10/10, would do it again…

Well, turns out that’s exactly what we’re doing, as we’re pleased to share that we’re setting our sights on Bournemouth once more for Ripper Fest 2 - and this time, we’re bringing the full band!

As was the case last year, all profits raised will go to @forestholmehospice, and we’re lucky enough to be performing alongside a bunch of mates and excellent bands including @tenderstemband, @maxwelltheband, @weatherstate, and more.

Tickets available via @ripperfestival / link in our bio - seeya there! x

Happy New Year from your favourite pop anarchist quintet (yes, there are five of us now…) - Although it may have seemed fairly quiet for us (aside from just a couple of sold out shows + Simple Things 💅), 2025 was v busy for us behind the scenes, and we can’t wait for 2026 to roll around so we can start sharing what we’ve been up to.

Here’s to you 🥂

What started off as a (very) drunk idea is rapidly spiralling out of control into a cursed annual tradition - that’s right, we’re closing out the year by taking part in @deadpunkpromo’s ‘Punk Rock Stars in Their Eyes’ once again, this time joining forces with our pals in @cherrychain22 for 20 minutes of RAW, UNAPOLOGETIC ROCK MUSIC as none other than the titans of butt rock themselves; Nickelback 🤘

Technically we’re playing on Christmas Eve as our set starts at midnight (the witching hour), but either way we’re counting on you to bring the vibes, dig out those bootcut jeans you wore once to your 2007 work Xmas do, and sing your bloody hearts out with us 💕

THIS WILL SELL OUT, so grab your tickets while you still can xx

Peace, love, and rock & roll,
@thebandsunspot + @cherrychain22 💋 taken in Exchange by @thebandsunspot
