Japan | Dr. Yoshiaki Sato inventor : this trip marked my second oh “shit moment” with KAATSU

I stopped seeing KAATSU as just a workout tool… and started seeing it as a way to level up recovery, performance, and long-term health.

Less Wear and Tear….
• You can get stronger using lighter weight (less stress on your joints).
• You recover faster between sessions.
• It helps improve circulation — better blood flow = better performance.
• It can help your body heal and adapt quicker.
• You get more out of shorter workouts.

As I head on another KAATSU related adventure I was reflecting on my reluctance at the start and how things have shifted so heavily since. The gym sessions blow my mind as I get older and they just feel better 💪🏾🤘🏾👊🏾

What if you could get all the lactic-acid training benefits — without heavy loads, joint stress, or brutal fatigue?

That’s the power of KAATSU: light weights, controlled pressure, and huge metabolic payoff.
You trigger the same adaptation signals you’d get from high-intensity lifting, but with a fraction of the mechanical stress.

⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️KAATSU restricts venous return just enough to pool blood, spike lactate, and create metabolic stress, all while keeping loads light and movement quality high.

You get the signal your muscles need to grow, adapt, and build endurance — without the tissue damage, form breakdown, or CNS fatigue that normally comes with chasing the burn.

It’s efficient, joint-friendly, and perfect for accessory work, mobility flows, and whole-system conditioning days.

I like starting with @foundationtraining flowing for 4-10mins before some specific lactic producing moves and then it’s onto barbell work. I’ve been playing with complexes that around 90 seconds which tax the lunges and tickle the lactic build up.

From there it’s the various moves in a 30on 30off format.
Check out the section on the FoundationTraining APP with some fun training combos.

Train harder, recover faster. Unlocking Peak Performance with KAATSU
When used right, KAATSU BFR can trigger a surge of HGH and testosterone—peaking mid-workout—priming your body to crush your heavy lifts.

More growth. More strength. Less wear and tear. Let the pump power your performance.

Aging athletes wanting to keep strength up while reducing injuries the @foundationtraining @kaatsuglobal combo is the 1 - 2 COMBO!

I’ve played with many versions of #kaatsutraining workouts, with a long love for barbell & kettlebell training I’ve wanted to find ways to integrate that ultimately serve performance out comes.

My time learning from Dr. Saato helped me take this understanding to another level and play with the powerful surges that KAATSU provides. Hence why I’ve come to book end my big lifts with KAATSU.
