📺 We’re taking over the screen for @cbc’s @cbcdragon!

Wintta Ghebreiyesus, Founder of @moontradeshq, is heading into the Den, and we want the YSpace and @thebea.co community in the room when it airs. We’ve been proud to support Wintta and Moon Trades along their journey, and seeing her pitch to the Dragons on national TV is a big moment for all of us.

Moon Trades is reimagining how we find critical minerals. Instead of months of costly fieldwork, autonomous rovers and AI do the heavy lifting, scanning sites on the ground and pointing teams to exactly where they should drill. It’s deep tech with real-world impact, and we can’t wait to see how the Dragons react.

Once the credits roll, Wintta joins us live for a fireside chat on everything the cameras didn’t catch: the nerves, the prep, the toughest questions, and where Moon Trades goes from here.

🗓️ October 30 | 11:30AM - 2:00PM at YSpace Markham
Bring your best Dragon impression and come cheer on one of our own. Spots are limited, so register at the link in bio!

Some parts of starting up are scarier than others: finding your first customers, choosing a legal structure, and making sense of taxes. 👻 This October, Founder Fundamentals in partnership with @bea.co is here to help you face them with three workshops led by founders and experts who have lived through it and come out stronger.

🎃 Oct 6 | Founder-Led Sales & Customer Acquisition with Vincent Tsang, Entrepreneur Sales Coach

🕸️ Oct 20 | Understanding Legal Business Structures in Canada with Aziz Smailagic, @ownr.co

🦇 Oct 27 | Grants, Tax Credits & Government Funding with Jackson Lai, @bdo_canada

No tricks, just clear, practical learning for students and early-stage founders who are ready to turn the unknown into a next step.

Their journey shows what’s possible when vision meets the right support and community.
