I was having way too much on Saturday to take photos but here’s a little collection of the celebrations from friends!

My 40.5 birthday is one I’ll never forget!

Thanks so much to @botanicacork and all the team at @aye_cork and to @diegocaixeta16 for being my party planner 😅♥️

Saturday 11th July. Another busy day for biodiversity in Trim.

First we had a Foraging workshop with Jenny Boylan @thebeginnerforager. Jenny has a habit of coming to Trim on the hottest day of the year but this didn't stop everyone making the most of the very informative session. Thanks Jenny for your time and sharing your expertise 💚

In the evening, Terry Cassidy, local and BirdWatch Ireland Meath Branch member, hosted a 'Swift Walk and Talk' in Trim. This always proves to be a popular session and the Swifts did not disappoint. We were also lucky to spot the resident Peregrine Falcon in the town. Thank you Terry and to everyone who came along for the evening 🐦

The foraging workshop was funded by @theheritagecouncil

Back to nature and a good old bustle in the hedgerow with Jenny Boylan and a great gang of would-be foragers.
Thank you to Hannah G for her inspirational work and to Jenny for travelling up from Cork.

Hello again Everyone,

News here of a nice meeting between Jenny Boylan (@thebeginnerforager) and the Green Team at Prosper Meath on the Porch Fields.

Jenny showed the team some of the wildflowers around Trim and shared some tasty recipes that the group are looking forward to trying.

Jenny also learned from the group about the meaning of Trim as Gaeilge - "Baile Átha Troim" - Town of the Ford of the Elder Tree.

Splendid work coordinated by the mighty Hannah Gilligan from Connecting Trim With Nature. Made possible with the support of The Heritage Council.

Well done one and all.

Look at my little girl Miral, she will not lose hope. She wants to search for her toys in a pile of rubble, but unfortunately my little girl did not get anything. The occupation has deprived her of all her rights. Please help me and donate to my family, even if it is just a small amount, please. #السعوديهة_قطر_الكويت_العراق_ليبيا_فلسطين_كندا_رومانيا_بريطانيا_امريكا_اوروبا_الخليج #jordan #عُمان #قطر
