Bath, England is a dream and this is how I’d spend a day there 🛁

Book a room at the Bird Bath Hotel and you can walk to just about everything. The bird theming is adorable and our room felt like a cozy little nest 🐦

Kick off the morning at Sally Lunn’s, a historic house that’s famous for its signature bun. I went with the cinnamon butter bun and I’m still thinking about it 🤤

From there, the Roman Baths are a must. The Romans built them around a hot spring that still runs today, and it’s wild how well everything has been preserved 🏛️

Then give yourself time to roam. Those golden stone buildings are gorgeous, and there are cafes tucked around every corner. Bridgerton fans can even spot filming locations, including the cafe that played the modiste’s shop 💛

Finish the day curled up back at the Bird Bath Hotel ✨ @thebirdbath_

Dame Imogen Cooper’s farewell Bath concert.
One of Britain’s most celebrated classical pianists, Dame Imogen Cooper, brings her long and special relationship with Bath Mozartfest to a close on Thursday 19 November 2026. This concert marks her final performance in the City, and in the South West, before she steps away from the concert platform in February 2027. Her only other UK performance this season will be at London’s @wigmore_hall , making this an unmissable date for classical music lovers.

Held at St Mary’s Church, Bathwick, widely regarded as the finest of Bath’s Georgian churches, the evening opens with an intimate on-stage conversation between Imogen Cooper, Adrian Brendel and Till Fellner, reflecting on her long and distinguished career.

The programme itself is entirely of Imogen’s own choosing: a delightful and deeply personal selection of works by Mozart, Schubert, Brahms, and De Falla performed alongside a hand-picked cast of starry musical friends: pianist Till Fellner, tenor Mark Padmore, violinists Katharine Gowers and Henning Kraggerud, violist Krzysztof Chorzelski, and cellists Sonia Wieder-Atherton and Adrian Brendel.

After the concert, from 9:30pm for the Bath Mozartfest Supper at The Bird Hotel, opposite St Mary’s Bathwick. This relaxed, informal post-concert supper is a highlight of the festival calendar, a chance to enjoy a main course, a selection of sweet treats and wine while meeting fellow music lovers, the evening’s artists and members of the Bath Mozartfest team. It’s booked separately from the concert at £55 per person, with all proceeds supporting next year’s Mozartfest.

Whether you’re a lifelong classical music fan or new to live piano recitals, this is a rare chance to see one of the UK’s most recognised pianists, an artist whose name is known well beyond classical circles, in an intimate Bath setting.

This weekend I am excited to be visiting Bath! A city I love for many reasons, one because my best friend lives there ❤️ two because it holds such great memories for me as a teenager, catching the bus from Glastonbury to the big city to go clothes shopping!!! Goodness did that bus seem to take forever, but it was always worth it!

However, this weekend as well as getting to see my best friend, I will also be co-hosting some travel training at the beautiful @thebirdbath_ Hotel & on the Friday night I will be available at the Apex City of Bath hotel between 6.30pm & 8.30pm to chat all things travel with anyone who is interested in how they could earn back from travel.

A dreamy few days in the West Country 📍

We knew Bath had a special place in our hearts but we decided to make a stop in Lower Langford on our last trip, and it did not disappoint.

During our time in Bath we stayed @thebirdbath_ which provided us with the perfect base overlooking Bath rugby ground, and a short walk into the hustle and bustle of the city centre. We caught up with friends and visited the baths and abbey.

From here we drove to Lower Langford, 25 minutes from Bristol. On our way we made a detour to @tyntesfieldnt before reaching our destination for the night @thelangfordinn - the most perfect remote pub stay with the friendliest staff. We tucked into a delicious dinner before settling down for the night in the cosiest of rooms.

Before heading home we grabbed lunch from @thatcherscider brewery @railwayinnsandford

"Hey! I’m Ellie, a Bath-based content creator sharing family life, home and lifestyle, as well as my favourite places to eat, visit and explore around Bath and beyond. Here are a few of my favourite places to eat and drink in Bath:

1. No.15 by @guesthousehotels Bath - I love No.15 for its delicious food and gorgeous cocktails. It’s such a beautiful setting to wind down and enjoy their selection of small plates and sharing dishes.

2. @themintroom - The Mint Room is one of my favourites for sure. The food is delicious, and their Indian High Tea, a twist on the classic afternoon tea, was out of this world!

3. @thebeefyboys Bath - Beefy Boys is my go-to when I’m craving something seriously indulgent. Their burgers, Ninja Tenders and loaded fries are incredible!

4. @sarthirestaurant - Sarthi is another great pick for me. I love the authentic Indian flavours and there’s always so much variety to choose from. It’s completely meat-free, but you wouldn’t even know it.

5. @thebirdbath_ - The Bird is a beautiful hotel in Bath with a lovely setting and a great menu, I've really enjoyed eating here, and their roast dinners are definitely on my list to try next."

Nestled away in bath, The Bird is nothing short of exceptional. With its traditional Bath brick outside, the interior is full of drama and pops of colour, I’d like my house decorated like it tbh 🤣

The Bird Grill food is so well done, full of flavour and perfectly balanced dishes that are pretty memorable - special mention for the basil and elderflower sorbet on that eton mess because it was so fragrant yet punchy?

The steak was perfectly cooked with a gorgeous garlic butter, and the bacon butter cabbage is probably the only time I’ll order cabbage on a menu 😆

ALSO - a spicy. pickle. marg. no words x

They’re dog friendly too which is a win from us and pooch too 🥹🐶

Such a fab meal at @thebirdbath_, we enjoyed every minute, from the food, the restaurant itself & the service was all just spot on ❤️

ad | invite / we were treated with a 3 course meal and a cocktail and honestly I this really is my new favourite spot in Bath. For starters we had the Bath chap and crispy squid, a Bath chap is a pig cheek and this just completely fell apart it was sooo tender. The seasoning on the crispy squid was lovely 😋

We also had the asparagus with wild garlic, I loved the presentation of this dish and the flavours were just as good, it also came with a soft poached egg and this was really creamy! 🤤

For mains I had been eyeing up the trout with white wine sauce and veg, I had never had trout before and thought it was a lot like salmon tbh! The fish was lush and flakey and the skin was crisp, was so nice in that sauce as well! I really enjoyed this! 🐟 Matt’s steak was cooked and seasoned to perfection, it had a proper charred flavour on it and was super tender and perfect dipped into that garlic butter 🥩🧄

On to the puds the honeycomb and lemon sundae was super refreshing, fattttt chunks of honey comb which I LOVEDDDD 🍨 the lavender and rosemary crème brûlée was definitely a interesting one, not flavours I would usually go for 😭 but it was Matts choice not mine so that’s all good, and he liked it!

The perfect spot for date nights or a nice meal out for an occasion with family, they have a nice outdoor seating area for sunnier days as well! But the inside is just as much of a vibe as well! ☀️✨
