✨ We had a fantastic day meeting our pantomime cast at the wonderful @thebirdbath_ , and we’ve got lots of panto-related photos, videos and content to share over the coming weeks - keep following us for all the updates and gossip!

🌹 In the meantime, a huge thank you to the staff at The Bird Hotel, one of fabulous pantomime sponsors for this year along with their sister hotel, @dukesbath, for their hospitality, incredible food and ongoing support of all things panto!

ad. @thebirdbath_ has my HEART 🥹

Nestled away in bath, The Bird is nothing short of exceptional. With its traditional Bath brick outside, the interior is full of drama and pops of colour, I’d like my house decorated like it tbh 🤣

The Bird Grill food is so well done, full of flavour and perfectly balanced dishes that are pretty memorable - special mention for the basil and elderflower sorbet on that eton mess because it was so fragrant yet punchy?

The steak was perfectly cooked with a gorgeous garlic butter, and the bacon butter cabbage is probably the only time I’ll order cabbage on a menu 😆

ALSO - a spicy. pickle. marg. no words x

They’re dog friendly too which is a win from us and pooch too 🥹🐶 by @thebirdbath_

Such a fab meal at @thebirdbath_, we enjoyed every minute, from the food, the restaurant itself & the service was all just spot on ❤️

ad | invite / we were treated with a 3 course meal and a cocktail and honestly I this really is my new favourite spot in Bath. For starters we had the Bath chap and crispy squid, a Bath chap is a pig cheek and this just completely fell apart it was sooo tender. The seasoning on the crispy squid was lovely 😋

We also had the asparagus with wild garlic, I loved the presentation of this dish and the flavours were just as good, it also came with a soft poached egg and this was really creamy! 🤤

For mains I had been eyeing up the trout with white wine sauce and veg, I had never had trout before and thought it was a lot like salmon tbh! The fish was lush and flakey and the skin was crisp, was so nice in that sauce as well! I really enjoyed this! 🐟 Matt’s steak was cooked and seasoned to perfection, it had a proper charred flavour on it and was super tender and perfect dipped into that garlic butter 🥩🧄

On to the puds the honeycomb and lemon sundae was super refreshing, fattttt chunks of honey comb which I LOVEDDDD 🍨 the lavender and rosemary crème brûlée was definitely a interesting one, not flavours I would usually go for 😭 but it was Matts choice not mine so that’s all good, and he liked it!

The perfect spot for date nights or a nice meal out for an occasion with family, they have a nice outdoor seating area for sunnier days as well! But the inside is just as much of a vibe as well! ☀️✨ taken in The Bird, Bath by @thebirdbath_
