Great night of training! ๐Ÿฅ‹๐ŸฅŠ Some Gi BJJ and some Muay Thai makes for a well-rounded night at Victory. ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿฝ We also had a bittersweet farewell to Savannah tonight as she heads off to begin her military career with the U.S. Army. ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ Even though her time with us was short, she has been one of the most consistent, positive, and uplifting people in the gym. Your energy, work ethic, and presence will definitely be missed. Weโ€™re proud of you, Savannah! Go chase that next chapter and make us proud. Weโ€™ll always consider you part of the Victory family. โค๏ธ๐Ÿซก #VictoryFamily #BJJ #MuayThai #Victory #HardworkDedication โ€ข โ€ข Come checkout Victory MMA๐ŸฅŠ๐Ÿฅ‹๐Ÿคผโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿ™‚. TUTORIAL . . How to clean your gloves! This is solid for ALL types of gloves. Boxing, MMA, and puffies(industry term). -Dishwasher -Stand them upright -Light cycle -NO SOAP -No Heat Dry -Ring out in sink when done -Sun/air dry -NEVER PUT THEM IN THE DRYER If they still still stink.... DO IT AGAIN NOTE: If you have the type of dryer that has a rack you can set them on, that is acceptable. But, allowing them to tumble loosely in the dry will instantly ruin them (same goes for shoes) . . #BeAGoodTrainingPartner #GymLife #ItTakesAVillage #EquipmentMaintanence #HardWorkDedication

Congratulations to all of the athletes who competed today at the PKB Kickboxing/Boxing Tournament! @jeffrey_c_b put on an incredible performance, winning both of his matches and making sure neither one saw the third round. His pressure, defense, footwork, and composure were on full display. @mightyminto_ added another victory to her record. Itโ€™s easy to see why so many girls hesitate to fight her in MMAโ€”sheโ€™s an absolute badass. @theblackb1ade didnโ€™t come away with the win, but he stepped into the ring with confidence, fought his heart out, and left everything he had out there. Thatโ€™s all we can ask for, and weโ€™re proud of his effort. Win or lose, every time our athletes step out there they represent Victory MMA with courage, discipline, and heart. How Hard Do You Hitโ€ฆ๐Ÿ’ฅ One thing this machineโ€”and others like itโ€”has taught me is that the prettiest, most technical punch isnโ€™t always the one that scores the highest. Sometimes you have to cock it back to Kansas, throw it from your hip, and lean your whole body into it just to get that top score. ๐Ÿ˜‚ In a real fight, Iโ€™ll take technique, timing, and accuracy over a machine score every day. But itโ€™s still fun to see what youโ€™ve got. ๐Ÿ’ฅ๐ŸฅŠ #Boxing #PunchPower #MMA #Victory #HardworkDedication โ€ข โ€ข ***Come checkout Victory MMA๐ŸฅŠ๐Ÿฅ‹๐Ÿคผโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿ™‚. When your students are happy you are out of your sling and show it. 6 weeks with one arm can put a damper on any situation. I'm out of it now and on to getting my range of motion and strength back. Hopefully can fight again by the spring. #explorepage #kickboxing #muaythai #bjj #explore #mma #wrestling #boxing #victory #HardworkDedication #MartialArts #recovery

Last night was a lot of fun. We started off the night with a fun clumsy drill of โ€œNo Arm Burpeesโ€ for two minutes. Not something we normal do, but hey, letโ€™s break up the monotony of training and try something a little fun and goofy. Whoโ€™s says that training has to be so serious all of the time. ๐Ÿคช๐Ÿฅ‹ โ€ข โ€ข โ€ข ***Come checkout Victory MMA๐ŸฅŠ๐Ÿฅ‹๐Ÿคผโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿ™‚. Beginners to pro athletes are welcome!
