Happy July ✨ This month is for the parents! We’re centering how challenging it can be to manage a household, multiple emotions, AND this work 😵‍💫 It’s the second month of summer here in the U.S. and we know many of us are looking for community to share the depths of our stress. Or if you aren’t a parent yet 😉, you’re trying to learn where you can go for support before the child arrives. As a community-centered person, you understand the value of ‘ staying ready so you ain’t gotta get ready’ ✊🏾 So here’s our first event this month! If you’re a parent looking for values-aligned July 4th plans, come to our Aligned Babysitter Meet Up! We’re convening families and babysitters to find each other. And guess what, it’s all FREE for the first 12 kiddos in each city 🙌🏾 That’s right, if you’re in Fort Worth or Houston, we’ve got you covered! Shout out to our partners for helping us spread the word and ensure the RIGHT childcare is in the room @babysittingconnection @theblacknannynetwork @motheringjustice In the midst of the joy, we’re also saving space for processing so many recent events of harm and violence to our Black youth. We recognize how challenging it can be for activistpreneurs to create containers to vent & process hard feelings. Join our free virtual gathering space facilitated by @iya.ifayomi on Friday evening to release in community with other activistpreneurs ✨🕯️🫂 Every second Friday of the month, we gather on Zoom for virtual coworking & connection. The best kept secret about this space? It’s where a lot of our members get free coaching witn our Founder & Visionary @ellas_daughterr We’re tuning into a national conversation about Black women in Ai. Best believe the Village Members will be in the space as advocates of the anti-Ai movement ✊🏾 We’re holding firm on remaining visible in this conversation as activistpreneurs who value regenerative practices for our environment. [Monthly Workshop] Calling all parental activistpreneurs 🗣️ Join this virtual workshops to design your ideal life work rituals BEFORE the school year starts! Free for members, $13 for the general public. Tickets can be purchased through

✨ I stopped by @charmedla for an incredible event for childcare professionals—and it was a reminder of just how powerful it is to lean into the rituals that make you feel good. Whether it’s slipping on your favorite necklace or choosing earrings that speak to your mood, jewelry isn’t just an accessory—it’s a ritual. A signal to yourself that you are worth adorning. That your presence matters. That how you show up for you is just as important as how you show up for everyone else. Thank you to the @theblacknannynetwork for inviting me, and here’s your reminder: Elevate your everyday. Lean into the routines that honor who you are becoming. 💫 And join our waitlist for our next Style Masterclass 👉🏽 Linked in our bio! . . . . #thingstodolosangeles #losangeles #thingstodo
