Over the years at Heroes Pub we have always stepped up to help some our favorite local efforts (@chesapeake_k9 , @theblueribbonproject , @liams_team_foundation and more) so we’ve decided it was time for us to start our own! This year’s Heroes Holiday Market Raffle will be the first of our efforts to raise money for the Heroes CARES Ltd fund. We plan on continuing our efforts for local community non-profits that we believe in! Because “Community Action Relies on Everyone’s Support.” Thank you for the support!

🎒 Through 'Backpacks of Love,' The Blue Ribbon Project continues to supply youth entering care through emergency placement in Prince George's County with essentials and comforting personal items at a moment's notice. Our Child Advocacy Center works directly with TBRP to ensure that youth entering care have access to these age- and gender-specific backpacks around the clock.

This registration is for nonprofits, community organizations, and service providers who would like to share resources with attendees at the Beyond the Block Party.

Community Partners are invited to set up a resource table to provide information about programs, services, and initiatives that support families and the local community.

#betterlatethannever At the beginning of the month, @rotaryclubofannapolis hosted Rock the Dock. It was a fun night full of food, dancing, auctions and prizes on Back Creek at the @annapolismaritimemuseum

We raised $17,000 for @theblueribbonproject , a wonderful organization dedicated to preventing child abuse and supporting children and families affected by abuse and neglect.

Rotary’s motto is Service Above Self, and if this can be accomplished while having fun in the process, I’m always here for it! 💛🌟

We are pleased to announce that proceeds from Rock the Dock raised $17,000 for @theblueribbonproject ! And we had the pleasure of presenting the check to Taylor Piles, his son and service dog. Taylor says it will go to the foster youth mentoring program.

Today the Outreach team from @weareunionchurch went to @theblueribbonproject and it was such a pleasure to help their cause that assist children in the foster care system and children that are victims of abuse.

We packed backpacks and today our group helped to pack 32 backpacks that consist of toiletries, a blanket, a book, toys that are age appropriate, a night light, two outfits, pajamas, socks, & more to ensure that these children have something while they have to transition through a rough time in life. Thanks to all that served today and it is food to help the little ones ages 0-17.
