Our pop-up tents have been working hard at our recent community outreach events, helping us connect with people in the community! Unfortunately, they’re starting to break down, and we’re in need of replacements.

We’re looking for TWO 10 ft. x 10 ft. pop-up tents in great condition. Do you have one tucked away in your garage or storage that’s no longer being used? We’d love to give it a new purpose! We’re happy to arrange pickup, making it easy for you to help support our mission.

🍂 Connecting with Our Community! 🍂

Our Leadership Team members, Pat and Béla, enjoyed a beautiful fall day at the Edgewater VFD Community Safety Event!

They had a wonderful opportunity to connect with community members, share information about The Blue Ribbon Project’s programs, and spread the word about ways to get involved. We even hope to welcome a few new volunteers to our team!

💙 A Big Thank You to the Ethels! 💙

The Ethels are an amazing group of women, ages 60+, who come together for social activities and various focus groups—and they know how to make a difference!

For months leading up to their visit, these incredible women were busy raising funds, shopping from our Greatest Needs List, and collecting in-kind donations. They brought it all with them when they came to volunteer with us last week!

While here, the Ethels packed much-needed Backpacks of Love to help replenish our inventory and also tackled a project to sort and organize blankets for children in care.

We are so grateful for the way the Ethels embraced the mission of The Blue Ribbon Projects and for the generosity, time, and love they poured into supporting our work. Thank you, Ethels, for making such a meaningful impact! 💙👏 by @theblueribbonproject

We were thrilled to welcome a second team from the Navy Youth Hockey League’s 16U American team to volunteer with us!

These young athletes helped out in a variety of ways -- they packed Backpacks of Love, put their strength to work moving shelving and storage boxes, and helped assemble educational materials for our Speak Up...Speak Out training program. 🎒💪🏼📖
