I will say this time and time again - life drawing classes are one of the most (if not THE most) body-accepting spaces out there so it felt only right to host a class with @thebodyimagearchives!! Life drawing classes allow you to be fully present with a body in a way we really don’t get to do in society - its one of the few places where there’s no judgement, no shame, just presence. Whether you’re a seasoned artiste or a total beginner, this space is for you. Materials provided. Come play, come create, and come hang with me!! We’ll be hosted at the fab @thekingsheadn8 on 15th September. Go to my b10 to get your tiquet!! Can’t wait to see ya there!

Who decides what a ‘good’ body is? Meet the Panel 🔥 Day 2 Kitty Underhill is a model, speaker, and founder of The Body Image Archives — a project collecting real, lived experiences of body image across different identities and backgrounds. Her work digs into the how, where, and why of beauty standards — unpacking how they’re formed, how they shape our self-perception, and how deeply they impact our collective relationship to our bodies. A powerful voice shifting the narrative from shame to understanding 🧠 Creating Space: An Evening with Size Inclusivity 📍 May 13th | 6:30–8pm 🎟️ Link in bio for tickets @thebodyimagearchives

The day has finally come - it’s time to build @thebodyimagearchives together! BIA is looking for your experiences of body image, whether positive or negative! Go to the Lincoln Bio where you can upload an image or video of what has affected your body image and fill out the form with a few questions on how your body image journey has been. With each experience added to the archive, we will develop a richer understanding of what affects our body image, and start finding the root causes of poor body image so we can finally tackle them head on and try and end the poor body image cycle once and for all. I can’t wait to read your stories and to create this change with you!

The first ever Show, Tell, Donate event was last night, which means that The Body Image Archives received their first ever external donations! How exciting is that! This is just the beginning. These archives have started as a box in my attic, and one day, these will be populated by more and more peoples’ experiences and items to make a brand new educational resource for body image that we so deeply need. Now the first event is done, my next mission is to bring more body loving events to the masses, connect with more people, collaborate with communities and collect even more. Watch this space! ✨ What kind of event would you like to see from The Body Image Archives?

I created @thebodyimagearchives as an antidote to the deluge of negative body image content we’ve been on the receiving end of, and that shows no sign of calming down. By creating an archive for body image, we can create a learning resource that helps us to be better equipped to fight back against harmful body image narratives. The first EVER body image workshop and archive collection event is happening A WEEK TODAY! 4th March at @multistorypeckham. Donate to the archive, be a part of making history, and learn some tools on how to be kinder to yourself and your body all in one evening. Tickets at the lynk in my b10!! —- #BodyImage #Archive #BodyPositivity #EventsLondon
