Mercury enters Scorpio✨

Mercury rules how we think, communicate, process information, and make sense of what’s happening around us. In Scorpio, there’s less patience for surface-level answers. You may find yourself wanting to know what someone really meant, what’s happening behind the scenes, or why something is affecting you as deeply as it is.

That can make this an incredibly revealing transit. Conversations can go places they normally don’t. You may finally put words to something you’ve been avoiding, notice a pattern you couldn’t see before, or feel more willing to ask the uncomfortable question instead of accepting the easy answer.

Just be careful not to confuse intuition with suspicion.

Mercury in Scorpio can make us excellent at reading between the lines, but it can also have us reading into things that aren’t there. If you find yourself obsessing over a text, mentally reconstructing someone else’s motives, or searching for hidden meaning in every interaction, come back to what you actually know. Ask instead of assuming.

And because Mercury begins its pre-retrograde shadow on October 4, some of the conversations, decisions, information, or unresolved questions that surface early in this transit may come back around later. Pay attention without feeling like you have to reach a conclusion immediately.

This is a good time to be more honest with other people, but especially with yourself.

Almost 8 years ago, I walked into my first networking rooms knowing almost no one.

I was new(ish) to Alberta, a single mom, building a business, and had maybe 1% confidence.

But I kept showing up.
I introduced myself.
I talked about my business.
I let myself be seen.

And somewhere along the way, I stopped just walking into the room.

I started creating the room.

Today, I host the room!

A little reminder: you don’t need to feel confident before you show up. Sometimes confidence comes because you did.

Bold Brunch✨

There’s something powerful about women gathering in a room and choosing to be seen.

Highlands Yoga Room x Breathe Retreats & Wellness are so excited to be the Mimosa Bar Sponsor for The Bold Brunch: Bold Enough to Be Seen, happening September 18.

A morning created for connection, conversation, community and celebrating women who are ready to take up a little more space in their lives, their businesses and their dreams.

And naturally, we’ll be adding a little sparkle to the morning.

Come and raise a glass with us and connect with an incredible room of women.

September 18, 2026
10:00 am to 12:00 pm
Hot Coffee Cafe, St. Albert

Thank you @holly_penney for creating spaces where women can gather, connect and remind one another that we don’t have to make ourselves smaller to belong.

You’ve built a business you’re proud of.

You’re ready for another level, but you’re not interested in building it at the expense of your life.

You’re open to looking honestly at what’s working, what’s not, and what you actually want next.

You value being around women who understand the weight (and privilege) of building something of their own.

And you’re ready to step away for six days and give yourself the perspective to figure some of it out.

We’ll do the business work.
We’ll mastermind.
We’ll eat incredible food.
We’ll explore Costa Rica.
We’ll spend afternoons by the ocean.
And we’ll see what happens when successful women get out of their everyday environments and around the same table.

The RISE Retreat, Costa Rica.

One beds remain.
