POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

It is with a huge amount of sadness, that I'm finally posting what most of you already know, that my lovely little glittery shop of dreams has closed.

Family life and shop life just haven't been able to sit alongside each other the way we hoped, and in the end, family has to come first. I thought the universe was telling me to go for it, but think my family is just too young at the moment, and maybe we'll revisit it in the future.

I was going to do some sad reel locking the door for the last time but actually couldn't face it. My lovely husband has actually sorted the closure for me as it's just made me too sad. Let's remember it just as I wanted it, here in these pictures. When my heart was brimming with excitement, passion and pride.

I want to say a huge, heartfelt thank you to the team at Goodsheds, who believed in me and gave me the chance to do something I'd dreamed about for a long time. Even for a short while, I got to live that dream, and I'll always be thankful for that.

And to the traders and neighbours who welcomed me in from the very start, thank you for the warmth, the kindness.

Thank you to my amazing friends and family, who made it happen, and were still there for me when it all fell apart, without judgement, just kindness.

I'll still be here in Dinas Powys for all your custom cupcakes and Bento Boxes, and of course the Cake Shed. I know the routine is up and down at the moment due to the heat, but come the autumn we'll find our routine again 🙏 Thank you for your patience.

Thank you all, truly. 🫶

You think you know @goodsheds … but have you explored ALL of it? 👀✨

Goodsheds has become a destination in its own right, and what I love most is that it’s always evolving. Alongside the long-standing food vendors that people know and love, there are always new street food concepts popping up, bringing flavours from around the world.

From Italian, Greek, Indian, Mexican and Asian cuisine to doughnuts, waffles, ice cream and fresh bakery treats from @thecakeplace_dp ( We were kindly gifted some brownies and banana pudding) both absolutely stunning and will be back for more, there’s genuinely something for everyone. 🍕🌮🍛🍦

We chose some delicious pizza from @rwcola.barry

🍕 Rwcola - Signature pizza with prosciutto crudo, wild rocket, burrata, pine nuts and honey - perfect crust and toppings

🍝 Deep Fried Lasagna bites - with marinara dip - these are ultimate comfort

🍫 Tiramisu - Classic and Nuttela - absolutely droolworthy.

We also tried the Butter Chicken Bowl from @spice_street55 - Luxurious, mildy sweet and creamy with a beautiful spice.

my daughter was absolutely craving a hot dog so we also ordered the classic hot dog from @mr_croquewich which was huge so of course we ordered the chicken too with dips and we were in dipping heaven.

And don’t stop at the food hall! The Urban High Street is packed with independent businesses selling fashion, gifts and jewellery, plus experiences like pottery painting and beauty treatments.

Whether you’re planning a family day out, catching up with friends or simply looking for your next foodie fix, Goodsheds always delivers the perfect atmosphere.

Who’s your favourite vendor? 👇

There’s another cake shed… and this one’s bringing New York flavours to Dinas Powys 🍰🍌🇺🇸

@thecakeplace_dp serving up Magnolia Bakery-style banana pudding alongside a line-up of sweet treats, and this Bank Holiday they’re going all in with a New York-themed weekend.

Expect New York baked cheesecake, Brooklyn blackout cake, NYC-style cookies and more.

Just like the other shed, it runs on an honesty box system, with a calculator to tot up your treats before you pay.

📍 3 Caernarvon close, Dinas Powys
🕒 Friday & Saturday from 10am (until it sells out)

Get there early… these won’t hang around.
