1000 FOLLOWER CAKE GIVEAWAY!

Happy Sunday! That was a super busy week of custom orders 🥵 Thank you as always for trusting me with your special occassions.

I mentioned a while ago on my stories that I would LOVE ❤️ to reach 1000 followers for The Cake Place's first birthday in September. It's certainly been a year of up and downs but I just want to keep moving forward, and I'm so excited to he head into my favourite time of year, the Ber months! 🤣

So to help me reach my goal of 1000 followers, I'm opening a giveaway that will close when I reach it.
There will be FOUR winners and each will win a Bento Cake!

These can be used as birthday or celebration cakes, or a fantastic flavour such as Biscoff, Coffee, Mocha, Lemon and more, to be enjoyed just because.

Here's what you need to do:

1) Like this post and share it.

2) Tag some friends in the comments, as many as you like, each new comment is an extra entry 🥳

3) Make sure you are following me!

The competition will close when I reach 1000 followers (and stay there for a day).

Winners will be announced on my stories and contacted by DM by me and only me. I will never ask for any details so don't share them with anyone pretending to be The Cake Place.

Claiming the prize will be subject to availability. I will always do my best to fit you in on the required date but it's not always possible.

This giveaway is not affiliated with Instagram.

Good morning all. Hope you're staying cool.

As mentioned previously there will be some price increases and changes to my Ts and Cs as of 1st July.

I've done my best to keep my prices as low as possible and I hate having to increase them, but due to the ever increasing costs of ingredients and supplies, unfortunately I do need to reflect this in my prices.

The 2 bits of good news are:

1) If you order and pay before 1st July 2026, you'll get the current prices, regardless of when your order is for

2) My medium bento boxes now include 5 cupcakes! Again, if you order a medium bento box at the current price, you'll be getting an absolute bargain (I might regret this 🤣).

Availability is very slim for July so please get in touch asap.

Allow extra time for your collections guys, I am particularly chatty atm 🤣

If you get Ceri instead of me on collection, count yourself lucky.

I don't talk about the shop much.

It was a dream that was over so fast, I sometimes wonder if it happened at all. To an extent I bury it because it's easier than facing the feelings that come with it. But as my favourite seasons creep closer, it's always in my mind that I couldn't wait to decorate my little shop, especially for Christmas.

I never use AI to generate my images but couldn't resist this last night to cheer myself up, and convince myself that I can still create a beautiful Christmas experience for you right here in my little front garden. I can 100% guarantee it won't look anything like this. And I'm pretty sure we switched to multicolour lights last year at Gwen's request, and I didn't mind at all because Christmas should be fun, and nostalgic.

This is a very heavy brain fart of a post for 8.15am on a Sunday morning so apologies 🤣 I do have an exciting theme announcment coming very soon 🥳

I can't promise that the decorations will be this amazing, or even tasteful. But I can guarantee the bakes will be amazing. If I could make my garden look like a house from Candy Cane Lane in a Hallmark movie, I would 🎄

3am thoughts on owning a Cake Shed, from a baker with more than a decade of marketing experience. 👵

Btw, this isn't me saying I've fully smashed any of these, just think they are the key ingredients!

If there's anything I could post which could top yesterday's Gilmore Girls reel, it's a pink leopard bento box 😍

This size box is just £36 and includes 8 cupcakes and a mini 5 inch bento. Flavours available include, vanilla and lemon, or if you're not too fussed on personalised colour, you could even go for chocolate, biscoff or coffee ☕️

Drop me a message to enquire. And have a great Sunday.

A week later than planned, but worth the wait. Welcome to Stars Hollow, I hope you like cinnamon.

As you can probably tell, "I am all in."

I really hope you enjoy what I've tried to create this weekend, and I can't thank the lovely Danny enough for this idea. It bought my spark back!

I might not be the cheapest cake shed, I might not have the biggest range. But I absolutely pride myself on always trying to bring you something different, something you won't find in any other cake shed, something fun. Visiting a cake shed should be an experience and I always do my best to bring that to you. It might be a bit weird, it might be a bit quirky, but as Paris Geller once said:

“I want to live my life so that I’ll be able to read an in-depth biography about myself in later years and not puke.”

Ellie is off sick (again). She's watching Christmas films on Netflix (girl after my own heart) and it's making me stress about where my Christmas tree is going to go this year (we may have inherited some furniture from the shop 🤦‍♀️). That said, I can't wait to start making Christmas cookies again 😍

Last year the Elf on the Shelf biscuits absolutely flew out 🛷 These other designs were popular at Christmas Fayres but are also available to order

One of my favourite things last year was giving away free cookies for Santa. Individually wrapped, with a little poem 🥹 I'd love to make this a tradition so if you'd like to see free cookies for Santa back this year let me knoe 🎅

I recently had the pleasure of setting up another dessert table for a lovely couple celebrating their joint 70th birthdays 🥳

On a slightly smaller scale than the previous wedding, but this set up also included mini cheesecake bites (not pictured as they were kept in the fridge until food was served).

I mean it when I say I love doing these! They are loads of fun! Without delivery and set up they come in at around £1 per bite (depending on your cake choices)

But I do also offer delivery and set up, like this one 😍

I'm sure lots of you are planning Halloween and Christmas parties already (based on how much you love it when I talk about Christmas in September 🤣), so please get in touch if you'd like to know more!

P.S. who do I think I am disappearing for a week then posting like nothing happened 🤣
