Today, I paused on celebrating my birthday to celebrate my firstborn’s college move-in. 🎓❤️

I just knew my face would be so puffy from all the tears of letting go. But God truly gave me peace. Peace in knowing that you are well prepared for this new chapter. Peace in knowing that I’ve done my part, and now it’s time to trust God with the rest.

Watching you take this next step fills my heart with so many emotions—pride, joy, excitement, and, yes, a few tears. 🥹

My firstborn, my heart… I’m so proud of you. Go into this new chapter knowing that you are loved, covered in prayer, and more prepared than you realize.

Happy birthday to me—and what a beautiful birthday gift it was to watch my baby begin a new journey. 💕🎓

God, I trust You with my child. 🙏🏽

Happy 18th Birthday, my son ❤️

Eighteen years ago, you changed my life forever. From the moment I first held you, I knew my heart would never be the same. Watching you grow from that tiny newborn into the young man you are today has been one of the greatest privileges of my life.

I’m so proud of your strength, your kindness, and the way you continue to become your own person. You’ve taught me more than you’ll ever know—about patience, love, and what truly matters. As you step into adulthood, I hope you always believe in yourself, chase your dreams boldly, and never forget where you come from.

No matter how old you get or how far life takes you, you will always be my firstborn, my son, and one of my greatest blessings. I’ll always be here for you—cheering you on, praying for you, and loving you unconditionally.

Happy Birthday. The best is yet to come. 🎉💙
